Super Sabrina is the second studio album by Italian pop singer Sabrina, released in 1988 (and in some countries in 1989) by Videogram.
1988 saw the release of Sabrina's second album, titled Super Sabrina, in Italy, France and Denmark; and in 1989 in other countries. The standard format at the time was still the vinyl LP, with Italy adding a bonus in the form of a picture disc (using the picture as the standard LP). While all countries used the same picture-sleeve design, the track listings were quite different. Italy and Germany added "Boys (Summertime Love)" and "Sexy Girl" to the eight tracks especially produced for the LP. Denmark released only these eight tracks, while the French CD release couples the eight tracks with the 'Extended Mix' of "My Chico" and the 'Boy Oh Boy Remix' of "All of Me (Boy Oh Boy)". Most interesting is the Japanese CD, which contains several rare remixes, including the 5:03 version of "Doctor's Orders".
Five singles were released from the album: "All of Me (Boy Oh Boy)", "My Chico", "Like a Yo-Yo", "Sex" and "Guys and Dolls". "All of Me (Boy oh Boy)" was written and produced by the British trio Stock Aitken & Waterman. Entering the charts in mid-summer 1988, the single became Sabrina's third major European hit. The second single "My Chico" reached No. 1 in Italy and No. 3 in Finland. The third single "Like a Yo-Yo" had success in Finland where it peaked at No. 1.

Italo disco is a music genre which originated in Italy in the late 1970s and was mainly produced in the early 1980s. Italo disco evolved from the then-current underground dance, pop, and electronic music, both domestic and foreign and developed into a diverse genre. The genre employs electronic drums, drum machines, synthesizers, and occasionally vocoders. It is usually sung in English, and to a lesser extent in Italian and Spanish.

The Donna Summer Anthology is a double compilation album by the American singer Donna Summer, released by Polygram Records in 1993. The compilation featured the majority of Summer's best known songs right from the start of her success to the present day. Summer had originally made her name during the disco era in the 1970s and in the decade that followed had experimented with different styles. Most of the tracks on this compilation are the original album versions of the songs, which were sometimes edited down for their release as a single. Included for the first time are two remixed tracks from her then previously unreleased I'm a Rainbow album, which had been recorded in 1981 but had been shelved by her record company at the time. The album also featured the Giorgio Moroder-penned and produced song "Carry On"', marking the first time Summer and Moroder had worked together since 1981. Summer and Moroder, together with Pete Bellotte had written the vast majority of her 1970s disco hits. Four years later, "Carry On" would be remixed and become a big dance hit. It also won Summer a Grammy for Best Dance Recording, her first win since 1984 and her fifth win in total.

The range of tracks included four special 12" remixes, exclusive to the set, and also a previously unavailable track by an American group called Sequal. The album gained a platinum BPI Award and reached #16 in the UK Top 100 Album Chart. Greatest Hits of All Times – Remix '88 is a remix album by Boney M. released in 1988. Boney M.'s new manager at the time, Simon Napier-Bell, succeeded in persuading the four original members to briefly reunite and promote this remix album. The man employed to re-arrange the original hits and create new interest in the band was PWL's Pete Hammond, who previously had remixed many of the Stock Aitken Waterman stable's chart-topping hits with Kylie Minogue, Jason Donovan, Rick Astley and Bananarama. Five of the tracks also feature new lead vocals by Liz Mitchell. In early 2021 Hammond recalled the following about the '88 remix project, explaining the new vocals: "The 2inch 24 track multi-track tapes were sent to PWL by Frank Farian of Far Music. Apparently, they had lost some of the original recordings—four songs if I remember correctly—and had to record four new versions; they were musically incomplete but good enough for me to overdub and remix". The remix project spun off three fairly successful single releases, "Rivers of Babylon ", "Rasputin " and the 1988 "Megamix", which would appear on the follow-up album issued a year later, and created the first wave of Boney M. nostalgia in Europe.

The song's B-sides "Doctors Orders" and "Sex" appeared on Sabrina's second studio album. "Like A Yo-Yo" was Sabrina's first collaboration with disco-legend Giorgio Moroder and peaked at number-one in Finland. Additionally it charted within the top 10 in Denmark and Spain. In the United Kingdom, the single reached number 72. For the single-release, the song was remixed by the English team of Stock/Aitken/Waterman for 7" and 12" use. SAW had been responsible for an earlier Sabrina's single "All Of Me". Videogram only used the 12"-remix, while Carrere in France used both, but edited the 7"-version. Different picture-sleeves were used for the 7" and 12"-releases in Italy. France used the Italian 12" design on all formats.
