Suran (Persian : سوران‎, also Romanized as Sūrān)^[1] is a village in Karvan-e Sofla Rural District, Karvan District, Tiran and Karvan County, Isfahan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 799, in 206 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Karvan-e Sofla Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in Karvan District, Tiran and Karvan County, Isfahan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 18,066, in 4,876 families. The rural district has 16 villages.

Karvan District is a district (bakhsh) in Tiran and Karvan County, Isfahan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 31,126, in 8,395 families. The District has one city: Asgaran.
