Sureshjan (Persian : سورشجان‎, also Romanized as Sūreshjān, Sooreshjan, and Sowreshjān; also known as Shareshkan, Shirishgūn, Sorūshgān, and Sorūshjān)^[1] is a village in Barf Anbar Rural District, in the Central District of Fereydunshahr County, Isfahan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 691, in 171 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Barf Anbar Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in the Central District of Fereydunshahr County, Isfahan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 7,717, in 1,774 families. The rural district has 12 villages.

The Central District of Fereydunshahr County is a district (bakhsh) in Fereydunshahr County, Isfahan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 38,955, in 9,259 families. The District has two cities: Fereydunshahr and Barf Anbar. The District has five rural districts (dehestan): Ashayer Rural District, Barf Anbar Rural District, Cheshmeh Langan Rural District, Pishkuh-e Mugui Rural District, and Poshtkuh-e Mugui Rural District.
