Sweta is a genus of leafhopper in the subfamily Typhlocybinae, with two species. The genus name is derived from the Sanskrit word for white, the type species S. hallucinata being predominantly whitish. The genus has an elongate pronotum which is unusual in Typhlocybinae and seen only in the Signoretiinae. [1] A second species Sweta bambusana was described from China in 2012. [2]

Maiestas maculata is a species of bug from the Cicadellidae family that is endemic to India. It was originally placed within Recilia, but a 2009 revision moved it to Maiestas. Subsequently, a 2011 revision found that M. prabha was a junior synonym of M. maculata.

Recilia is a genus of bugs from the family Cicadellidae. As of Webb & Viraktamath (2009), it includes just two species, with the vast majority of former species now in the genus Maiestas. Before this, the genus was sometimes treated as a subgenus of Deltocephalus.

Typhlocybinae Subfamily of insects

Typhlocybinae is a subfamily of insects in the leafhopper family, Cicadellidae. This is currently the second largest leafhopper subfamily based on the number of described species, but researchers believe there are so many taxa yet undescribed that it is probably the largest subfamily. Approximately 6000 species have been described to science so far.

Japananus Genus of true bugs

Magnentiini is a tribe of leafhoppers in the subfamily Deltocephalinae. There are currently 2 genera and 4 species in the tribe. It was formerly placed in the subfamily Nioniinae, but was moved to Deltocephalinae based on anatomical similarities. Members of Magnentiini are superficially similar to members of Punctulini and Vartini.
