Athletics has featured as a sport at the European Youth Summer Olympic Festival since its first edition in 1991. It has appeared on the programme at every subsequent edition of the biennial multi-sport event for European athletes under the age of 18. This age group corresponds with the youth category of athletics competition. However, during the games 2013, 2015 and 2017, the age group was changed to only include athletes under the age of 17. From the Baku games in 2019, the under-18 is again the age standard. That is, athletes must be either at the age of 16 or 17 of the year of the festival.

The athletics competition at the 2015 European Youth Summer Olympic Festival was held at the Athletics Stadium of Tbilisi in Tbilisi, Georgia between 27 July and 1 August. A total of 36 events were held, evenly divided between the sexes, repeating the programme of the previous edition.

Gymnastics at the 2015 European Youth Summer Olympic Festival took place from 28 July to 1 August in Tbilisi, Georgia in the Gymnastics Palace.

Tijana Milojević Serbian volleyball player

Tijana Milojević is a volleyball player from Serbia. She plays for the for OK Crvena zvezda. She was a member of Serbia U18 national volleyball team who earned silver medal in both Girls' Youth European Volleyball Championship and European Youth Olympic Festival in 2015.

Nina Derwael is a Belgian artistic gymnast. She is the 2020 Olympic champion, a two-time World champion, and a two-time European champion on the uneven bars. She is the 2019 European Games champion on the balance beam, as well as a two-time Belgian national all-around champion.

The Nacra 15 is a performance catamaran used for racing. It went into production in 2015. It was designed as a smaller version of the Olympic multihull class, the Nacra 17.

Meleni Rodney, OLY is a Grenadian sprinter who specialises in the 400 metres.

Stefano Sottile is an Italian high jumper. He competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics, in High jump.

The World Trail Orienteering Championships (WTOC) were first held in 2004 and annually since them. The majority of the championships were held in Europe, with 2005 the only exception up to date.
