Symphonic Holocaust is the only studio album by Swedish four-piece progressive rock band Morte Macabre. It was released in October 1998 via Mellotronen. Recording sessions took place at Studio Largen in Sweden. Production was handled by the quartet themselves.
Composed of eight tracks, the album consists of re-makes of instrumentals taken from the soundtracks of obscure, mostly European exploitation movies with the exception of two original compositions. [3]
Music critics and reviewers noted the band's focus on the mellotron, which was popular among progressive rock bands of the 60s and 70s. [2] [1] [3]
In 2004, American horrorcore musician Necro sampled the band's version of "Apoteosi del Mistero" for his song "The Dispensation of Life and Death" off of The Pre-Fix for Death .

Zombi 2 is a 1979 Italian zombie film directed by Lucio Fulci, from a screenplay by Elisa Briganti and an uncredited Dardano Sacchetti, and starring Tisa Farrow, Ian McCulloch, Richard Johnson, Al Cliver, Auretta Gay and Olga Karlatos. It serves as an unofficial sequel to George A. Romero's Dawn of the Dead (1978), which was released in Italy under the title Zombi.
The Beyond is a 1981 English-language Italian Southern Gothic supernatural horror film directed by Lucio Fulci. It is based on an original story created by Dardano Sacchetti, starring Catriona MacColl and David Warbeck. Its plot follows a woman who inherits a hotel in rural Louisiana that was once the site of a horrific murder, and which may be a gateway to hell. It is the second film in Fulci's Gates of Hell trilogy after City of the Living Dead (1980), and was followed by The House by the Cemetery (1981).

He is also involved with other bands and projects, such as horror soundtrack band Morte Macabre and psychedelic improvisation rock band My Brother The Wind. He also wrote the original soundtrack for the Spanish movie El Ultimo Fin De Semana.

Anima Morte is an instrumental progressive rock band formed in Stockholm, Sweden 2004 by Fredrik Klingwall. Influenced by Goblin, Fabio Frizzi and other composers of the Italian giallo and zombie movies of the seventies and eighties. The group makes heavy use of authentic instruments from the era such as mellotron and analogue synthesizers.
The Gates of Hell trilogy is the unofficial name for a trilogy of films directed by Lucio Fulci. While the films aren't direct sequels they are thematically connected.
