Syrnola violacea is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Pyramidellidae, the pyrams and their allies. [1]
The shell is smooth and violaceous. Its length measures 11 mm. The teleoconch contains ten whorls. These are quite plain except for the line of the revolving plica showing through each whorl transversely, just below the sutures. The aperture is somewhat oblique. The outer lip is plain. The columella is one-plaited. [2]
This species occurs in the Pacific Ocean off the Loyalty Islands.

Measuring a length of 4.5 mm, with a 1.5 mm diameter, the beautiful species is white and slightly ochraceous at the sutures. The columellar margin is minutely toothed towards the base. The sinus is wide. The siphonal canal is a little produced. There is a very pale ochraceous band round the middle of the body whorl, as at the sutures. The sinus is deeply cut behind. At the sutural margin of the outer lip is a bright ochraceous thickened callus.
