TCDD DE 24000 is a type of diesel locomotive built for operations on Turkish State Railways (TCDD) by Tülomsaş. 218 units were built between 1970-84 under license from Matériel de Traction Electrique (MTE) of France. The DE 24000 formed the backbone of the dieselisation of the Turkish railways during the 1970s. It follows the hood unit road switcher design, like most Turkish mainline locomotives. DE 24 000 is the most commonly found locomotive class in Turkey.
The TCDD E43000 is a twin-cab six-axle Bo-Bo-Bo electric locomotive used previously by the Turkish State Railways and currently by TCDD Taşımacılık in Turkey. The locomotives were designed by Toshiba and built by TÜLOMSAŞ at their Eskişehir shops. The locomotive is based on the JNR Class EF63 electric locomotive in Japan, built by Toshiba. The Turkish State Railways ordered 45 locomotives as part of the railways electrification program of the late-1980s early-1990s.
TCDD E52500 is a series of electric locomotives used by the Turkish State Railways, comprising 22 class 441-9 locomotives leased from Željeznice Federacije Bosne i Hercegovine in Bosnia-Herzegovina. They are used throughout the electrified parts of the Turkish rail network. The locomotives have a power output of 3,860 kW and are capable of 120, 140 or 160 km/h speed depending on the version.

The TCDD Open Air Steam Locomotive Museum is a railroad museum in Ankara, Turkey, which traces the history of steam locomotives. Due to the construction of the new Railway Station, the Museum was closed in March 2014 and the locomotives were transferred. The museum is owned and operated by the Turkish State Railways (TCDD). It is part of the Ankara Railway Museum, which consists of also Ankara Railway History Museum, Atatürk's Car and Railway Art Museum.

The GE PowerHaul is a class of mainline diesel-electric locomotives designed by General Electric. Thirty locomotives were ordered by Freightliner in 2007; the first locomotive was completed in July 2009 at GE's Erie, Pennsylvania, plant.
The TR NZ class, later known as the EAR 22 class, was a class of 1,000 mm gauge 4-8-0 steam locomotives built in 1915 by Nasmyth, Wilson and Company in Patricroft, Salford, England. The class had been ordered by the Nizam's Guaranteed State Railway (NGSR) for operation on its network in the Dominion of Nizam, better known as the Hyderabad State, in India. However, the locomotives in the class were never delivered to the NGSR, and, in the end, served their entire working lives in Tanganyika, East Africa.
TCDD Taşımacılık A.Ş. is a government-owned railway company responsible for the operations of most passenger and freight rail in Turkey. The company was formed on 14 June 2016, splitting off from the Turkish State Railways (TCDD) to take over railway operations, while TCDD would continue to administer railway infrastructure. TCDD Taşımacılık officially began operations on 1 January 2017.
