Tabane is a village located in Haut-Mbomou Prefecture, Central African Republic.
On 5 March 2016, LRA splinter group commander by Doctor Achaye attacked Tabane. Two people were killed and 12 civilians were kidnapped. [1] Several houses were razed to the ground and the militias also looted civilians' properties. [2] [3] As a result, Tabane residents took refuge in Zemio. [4]
On 19 September 2016, LRA raided Tabane. The raid displaced 700 civilians. [5]
Tabane has one health post. [6]
Zemio is a town and sub-prefecture in the Haut-Mbomou prefecture of the south-eastern Central African Republic. Zemio was the former capital of the Sultanate of Zemio before it was abolished in 1923 by France.
