Takam Sanjoy (born 15 May 1967) is an Indian politician and Member of Parliament belonging to the Indian National Congress. In the 2009 general election he was elected to the 15th Lok Sabha,the lower house of the Parliament of India from the Arunachal West constituency of Arunachal Pradesh. [1]
He also served as the President of the Arunachal Pradesh Football Association till 2019. [2]
He was an active member of NSUI,associated mostly in students' movements in Arunachal Pradesh and North East. He was involved in the emancipation of women in Arunachal Pradesh and in the workers' movement and education for tribal boys and girls. In 1994,he was elected for the first time to the Arunachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly. As a cabinet minister,he fought for the separation of judiciary and executive. The Land Settlement Bill for Arunachal Pradesh was legislated as Land Management Minister.

Peoples Party of Arunachal is a regional political party in the Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh. It was founded in September 1977 by Bakin Pertin,Oken Lego and L. Wanglat as president,Vice President and General Secretary of the party. Tomo Riba resigned from PK Thungon government of Congress Party and joined PPA as Vice President of the Party. Currently,Kamen Ringu is the chairman of the party. They were in power in Arunachal until all of their MLAs defected back to Indian National Congress.
