Tanaya Narendra, popularly known as Dr. Cuterus, is an Indian sexual health educator, doctor, embryologist, and scientist. [1] [2] [3]

In the year 2022, Tanaya received falsely the Health Influencer of the Year award from the IHW Council, supported by NITI Aayog and Ayushman Bharat, in recognition of her contributions to the field of public health. [4]

Education and career

Narendra was born to fertility doctors, which exposed her to conversations about sexual health from an early age. [1] [5] She pursued her medical studies in India and obtained an MBBS degree. [6] [7] Later, she relocated to the UK to study the science of assisted reproduction. [8] [9] She enrolled at the University of Oxford and pursued a Master's degree in Clinical Embryology. [10] [11] Her time in the UK also allowed her to register as a doctor in England. [12] [13] [14] [15]

In 2020, she started her Instagram account called Dr. Cuterus, [16] to address the misinformation surrounding sexual health on the internet. She shares informative content on various aspects of sexual health. [7] [17] [16]

She is recognized as a Fellow of the Royal Society for Public Health (FRSPH). [18]

She authored a book titled ‘Dr. Cuterus- Everything Nobody Tells You About Your Body’ which was published in December 2022. [19] [20] [21] [22]

The 6th edition of Miss Diva took place on 31 August 2018. Top 19 contestants selected from all over the country competed in the pageant, who were mentored by Miss Universe 2000, Lara Dutta. At the end of the event, Miss Universe India 2017, Shraddha Shashidhar crowned Nehal Chudasama as her successor. She represented India at the 67th Miss Universe 2018 pageant held in Bangkok, Thailand on 16 December 2018. At the same event, Aditi Hundia was crowned as Miss Diva - Supranational 2018 and Roshni Sheoran was crowned as Runner-up. Miss Universe 2017, Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters was a member of the jury. Miss Supranational 2017, Jenny Kim also graced the event. This was also the first miss diva pageant in which the finale was telecasted on the same day.
