The Señorita Panamá is a national beauty pageant in Panama. As of the 2024 edition, Señorita Panamá winners represent Panamá in Miss Universe and Miss International. The Miss Panama brand started in 1952, when the Panamanian Institute of Tourism received an invitation from Miss Universe to send a representative. In 1975, the Señorita Panamá name was used for the first time, reverting to Miss Panama in 1976. In 1982, Señorita Panamá was created by RPC Channel 4 as an alternative to send its winners to the Miss World contest in London. These pageants, along with smaller pageants such as Miss International Panamá and Miss World Panamá celebrated to select delegates for international representations.
The 13th Nuestra Belleza México pageant, was held at the Espacio Cultural Metropolitano of Tampico, Tamaulipas, Mexico on September 2, 2006. Thirty contestants of the Mexican Republic competed for the national title, which was won by Rosa Maria Ojeda from Sinaloa, who later competed in Miss Universe 2007 in Mexico where she was a Semifinalist in the Top 10. Ojeda was crowned by outgoing Nuestra Belleza México titleholder Priscila Perales. She was the second Sinaloan to win this title.
Mexicana Universal Jalisco is a pageant in Jalisco, Mexico, that selects that state's representative for the national Mexicana Universal pageant. Jalisco is considered one of the strongest states in Mexican pageantry, as they are almost always among the finalists.
Basúchil (Bajichi), water well in the Raramuri Language, is a town in the municipality of Guerrero, State of Chihuahua, Mexico. It was founded in 1649 as a presidio to protect the jesuit mission in the Tarahumara Papigochi region a few miles to the west, now Cd. Guerrero. Basúchil was initially named La Villa de Aguilar by his founder Diego Guajardo Fajardo governor of the New Vizcaya in honor to his home town, Aguilar de la Frontera, Spain. In 1652 the town was destroyed and its inhabitants assassinated by an attack incited by the lider Tarahumara Teporaca, years later it was resettled and renamed Basúchil. The Adolfo Lopez Mateos-Madera Highway passes on the east side.

Claudia Lozano of Nuevo León crowned Andrea Meza of Chihuahua at the end event. Meza represented Mexico at the Miss Universe 2020 pageant which she won to become the third Mexican Miss Universe.

Miss Mexico 2019 was the third edition of the Miss Mexico pageant, held on Friday September 20, 2019 at the Desert of the Lions National Park in Cuajimalpa de Morelos, Mexico City, Mexico. The winner was Ashley Alvídrez Estrada of Chihuahua and she represented Mexico in Miss World 2019. Alvídrez Estrada was crowned by outgoing titleholder Vanessa Ponce de León, who is also Miss World 2018.

Irma Cristina Miranda Valenzuela is a Mexican model, TV host and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Mexicana Universal 2022 at the pageant on May 21, 2022. As Mexicana Universal, Miranda represented Mexico at the Miss Universe 2022 competition.
Miss International 2023 was the 61st Miss International pageant, held at the Yoyogi National Gymnasium in Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan on 26 October 2023. Jasmin Selberg of Germany crowned Andrea Rubio of Venezuela as her successor at the end of the event, marking the ninth time that Venezuela won the competition - the most wins in the pageant's history.
Miss Charm 2024 will be the 2nd edition of the Miss Charm pageant. Luma Russo of Brazil will crown her successor at the end of the event.
