Tanzania Social Support Foundation (TSSF) is a non-governmental organization which is primarily and duly registered under the Non-Governmental Organisations' Act, [Cap.56 R.E 2019] of the Laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. [1] The TSSF is legally a body corporate that is mandated to operate in whole of the part of the United Republic of Tanzania as the National oriented Non-Governmental Organization. Since its permanent incorporation on 7 March 2014, the TSSF has been focusing on promotion of Diplomacy, Economic Development, Education, Environment, Good Governance, Healthcare, Social Support and Tourism. [2]
Tanzania Social Support Foundation has been a base for empowering the Civil Societies in the African Continent; and it is among the front line Organizations which is advocating for the civil societies' welfare in Africa. In 2015 Tanzania Social Support Foundation managed to invite civil societies across Africa and establish the Pan African Forum of Civil Societies [3] [4]
In 2014 Tanzania Social Support Foundation started to run a life skills training programs to youths across the Universities and Colleges in Tanzania for the purpose of preparing Tanzanian youth graduate be ready to face the challenges related to unemployment and in November 2014 the Organization held a National Youth Summit with the theme Understanding Gas and Oil Economy: Policies and its implications to youths of Tanzania [5] Also TSSF runs a Center for Development in South - Eastern Tanzania (CDSET) which is special for empowering the residents of Mtwara and Lindi Regions of Tanzania in both economic, social, and cultural dimensions of life. In 2017, the Tanzania Social Support Foundation launched its Higher Education Fund that is dedicated to offer scholarships and tuition waivers to over 50,000 students of the higher learning institutions as a way to serve all those who appear to miss the educational loans from the Government of the United Republic of Tanzania for which the fund is set to assist the student - citizens of the United Republic of Tanzania who are academically gifted but they fail to access the higher education due to their financial situation as they are originated from the very low-income families and disadvantaged backgrounds. On 6 January 2018 the TSSF launched its Private International Civil Society that is known as Consortium of Social Support Foundations with the main objective of advocating for the doctrine of social support across the world [22]

Moshi is a municipality and the capital of Kilimanjaro region in the north eastern Tanzania. As of 2017, the municipality has an estimated population of 201,150 and a population density of 3,409 persons per km2. In the last official census of 2022, the municipality had a population of 221,733. The municipality is situated on the lower slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro, a dormant volcano that is the highest mountain in Africa. The name Moshi has been reported to refer to the smoke that emanates from the nearby mountain. The municipality covers about 59 square kilometres (23 sq mi) and is the smallest municipality in Tanzania by area.

The Mtwara Port was built during the British Colonial times in the city of Mtwara in southern Tanzania. The harbor at the Port of Mtwara was deepened during the colonial times by the British in 1948-1954, and a railway line was built connecting the port, as part of the Tanganyika groundnut scheme. Due to the failure of the scheme the port immediately lost value and the railway line was removed. The port was functional but underutilized for many years due to poor transport infrastructure, However, in the years of 2010-2011 the increased activity in oil and gas natural resources energy exploration caused a surge on operations. The Mtwara port is also an integral part of the Mtwara Development Corridor project and has recently seen major upgrades. The port also has a special economic zone attached to it and In December 2015 Alistair Freeports Limited injected $700,000 to upgrade the Export processing zone around the port area.
Tanzania–Vietnam relations are bilateral relations between Tanzania and Vietnam. Vietnam and Tanzania set up diplomatic relations in 1965. Vietnam maintains an embassy in Dar es Salaam which is mandated to serve all of East Africa. Tanzania does not have an embassy in Vietnam, and the embassy in Beijing is accredited to Vietnam.

She was then appointed as the District Commissioner for Temeke District in Dar es Salaam Region in July 2021. Hon. Jokate Mwegelo was appointed by the President of the United Republic of Tanzania Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan as the District Commissioner for Korogwe District in Tanga Region in January, 2023 . She is a member of Chama Cha Mapinduzi, previously served as Secretary in charge of Public Relations and Mobilization UVCCM - youth wing of Chama Cha Mapinduzi.
