"Tapping Out" is a song by American metalcore band Issues, released for digital download and streaming as the lead single from their third studio album, Beautiful Oblivion , on May 3, 2019, on Rise Records. [4] It is the group's first song to be released since the departure of vocalist Michael Bohn, [5] as well as the second to feature vocals from AJ Rebello, the first being their previous single "Blue Wall".
Dance Gavin Dance is the self-titled second studio album by American rock band Dance Gavin Dance, released on August 19, 2008, on Rise Records. The album is a follow-up to the band's full-length debut studio album, Downtown Battle Mountain (2007), and is their first studio release to feature clean vocalist Kurt Travis and rhythm guitarist Zachary Garren, who replaced Jonny Craig and Sean O'Sullivan, respectively, in 2007. The album was produced, mixed, and mastered by Kris Crummett and recorded in Portland, Oregon. Leave Your Love is the debut EP release by American singer-songwriter and former Issues clean vocalist Tyler Carter, which was released on January 13, 2015 through Rise Records. The lead single, "Georgia" was released on December 16, 2014 through Rise Records along with a music video. "Tears on the Runway Pt. 1", featuring recording artist Nylo, was released as a promotional single on December 19. The title track, "Leave Your Love" was released as a single along with a music video on December 22, 2014. On February 26, 2015, Tyler uploaded the music video for the third and final single off the EP, "Find Me".
Headspace is the second full-length studio album by American metalcore band Issues. Released on May 20, 2016 on Rise Records, the band recruited Kris Crummett once more to produce the album. It is their final studio album to feature original member and co-vocalist Michael Bohn before his departure in January 2018, and is their first release since the departure of keyboardist and disc jockey Tyler "Scout" Acord. Despite this, Acord performs synthesizers and production on the album, and appears in the music video for its first single "The Realest". The album showcases the group's experimental approach to their signature metalcore-contemporary R&B hybrid sound, exploring elements of nu metal, pop, hip hop and funk.

Derek Tyler Carter is an American musician, singer, songwriter and record producer from Habersham County, Georgia. He was the lead vocalist and founding member of American metalcore band Issues. Carter began his musical career performing drums in local bands in Atlanta, Georgia. Following his underground success, he joined metalcore outfit Woe, Is Me, releasing their debut studio album, Number[s], in 2010, in which he left the following year.

The album is a follow-up to his second studio album, Perfect Enemy (2015), and is his first solo release on Rise since departing with Vital Records. The album was produced by Kris Crummett, who performed drums and percussion on the record, while Pearson performed guitar, keyboards, and bass guitar.
Moonshine is the debut studio album by American singer-songwriter and former Issues lead vocalist Tyler Carter, released on February 1, 2019, on Velocity and Rise Records. The album is a follow-up to Carter's debut extended play (EP), Leave Your Love. It was produced by long time collaborator Lophiile, Medasin, Brandon Paddock, Femdouble, Maui Black, and SmarterChild. The album was recorded in 2018 and was written over the course of three years, between 2016 and 2018. The singer continues his unique sound of soul, R&B, and electronic music with elements of country and pop. A companion extended play, Moonshine Acoustic, was released in June 2020.

Recording sessions for the album took place over a three-month period between August and October 2019 with producer Kris Crummett at Interlace Audio in Portland, Oregon, while the vocals were recorded with producer Drew Fulk in Los Angeles, California. The album is considered a musical progression for the band, as the group experimented with funk, Latin, rap, and metalcore which accompany their post-hardcore and experimental rock style. It is the group's final studio album to be released during bass guitarist Tim Feerick's lifetime before his death in April 2022.
