On Every Street is the sixth and final studio album by British rock band Dire Straits, released on 9 September 1991 by Vertigo Records internationally, and by Warner Bros. Records in the United States. The follow-up to the band's massively successful album Brothers in Arms, On Every Street reached the top of the UK Albums Chart and was also certified platinum by the RIAA.

Century Child is the fourth studio album by Finnish symphonic metal band Nightwish. It is the first album which features now-former bassist and male vocalist Marko Hietala, who left the band in January 2021. It is also the first Nightwish album to feature an orchestra.
Sodom is a German thrash metal band from Gelsenkirchen, formed in 1981. They have gone through many lineup changes, with bassist/vocalist Tom Angelripper the only constant member. The band is currently composed of Angelripper, guitarists Frank "Blackfire" Gosdzik and Yorck Segatz, and drummer Toni Merkel. Sodom has been referred to as one of the "Big Four" of Teutonic thrash metal, along with Kreator, Destruction and Tankard. Sodom heavily influenced the German black metal scene, and is regarded as a pioneer of death metal. Mike McPadden wrote that the most Venom-blackened of German "Three Kings", Sodom further merged thrash and death metal into a "wicked and decadent sound."

Seventeen Days is the third studio album by American rock band 3 Doors Down. It was released on February 8, 2005, five years after the release of their debut album, The Better Life. It is the band's first album to debut atop the Billboard 200, and received both gold and platinum certifications by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) on March 14, 2005. Its lead single, "Let Me Go", became the album's only song to enter the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at number 14. The album features a duet with Bob Seger on the single "Landing in London", and is the only 3 Doors Down studio album with Daniel Adair on drums, who left the group to join the Canadian rock band Nickelback in 2005.
Break the Cycle is the third studio album by American rock band Staind, released through Elektra Entertainment and Flip Records in May 2001. It is Staind's most successful album to date and was the album that broke them into the mainstream. It was a huge international success for the band, as it spent three weeks at number-one position in the U.S. album charts and many weeks in the top-10 album charts of the Billboard 200, the UK and New Zealand. It sold at least 4 million copies in 2001. The album was certified 5× platinum by the RIAA for sales of over five million units in the U.S on September 8, 2003.
Deaf Dumb Blind is the debut studio album by Swedish rap metal band Clawfinger, released on 21 April 1993. Produced by the band and Jacob Hellner, the album sold over 600,000 copies worldwide and was critically acclaimed by the Swedish press. The band won a Swedish Grammy Award in the Hard Rock/Metal of the Year category in 1994 for the album. Deaf Dumb Blind spawned four singles, including the successful single "Nigger", a controversial anti-racist statement.
Post Orgasmic Chill is the third studio album by British rock band Skunk Anansie, first released in 1999. Two album covers exist: the European version with the band lounging in an oceanside apartment, and the American version with the band standing on the Atlantic City boardwalk. It was a complete departure from their previous two albums, which had elements of punk rock and alternative rock, towards a new harder sound with elements of hard rock and alternative metal. It took eleven years for the group to release their next album, Wonderlustre.
The Eyes of Alice Cooper, released in 2003, is the sixteenth solo album by American rock musician Alice Cooper. With this album, Cooper returned to his earlier hard rock sound, in the vein of The Last Temptation, and left the heavy industrial metal sound found in his last two studio albums. Of note is the album cover, which was released in four different versions, featuring alternate colours in Cooper's eyes and the crescent around the 'A' in the title. It was available in blue, green, purple and red.

Decision Day is the fifteenth studio album by the German thrash metal band Sodom, released on 26 August 2016. This is Sodom's final album with guitarist Bernd "Bernemann" Kost and drummer Markus "Makka" Freiwald, who both parted ways with the band in January 2018, and it would be the last time the band had recorded together as a three-piece, a distinction Sodom had held since its inception. The artwork of Decision Day was designed by Joe Petagno. "Sacred Warpath", a track released two years earlier on the EP with the same title, was also re-recorded for this album.
Battles is the twelfth studio album by Swedish heavy metal band In Flames. It was released on 11 November 2016 in the United States via Eleven Seven Music. It is the last album to feature longtime bassist Peter Iwers and the first of two albums to feature former Red drummer Joe Rickard, who replaced longtime drummer Daniel Svensson, who left the band in 2015. Music videos were made for the tracks "Here Until Forever" and "The End".
Viktoria is the fourteenth studio album by Swedish black metal band Marduk. It was released on 22 June 2018. The album's lyrics follow in a similar vein to some of their previous albums, focusing on historical World War II lyrical themes. It is the band's last album to feature bassist Magnus "Devo" Andersson and drummer Fredrik Widigs.
