Tara Mira is a 2019 Indian Punjabi-language romantic drama film written and directed by Rajiev Dhingra and produced by Guru Randhawa, Ashok Yadav, Rajiev Dhingra, Jyoti Sekhon and Shilpa Sharma, under banners 751 Films, Rapa Nui's Films, Yadu Production and Red Eyes Productions. Plot

Tara's father Sulakkhan Singh doesn't like being associated with other castes. He believes that only Jatts should stay in Punjab. So, when Tara realizes that the girl he loves actually hails from Uttar Pradesh, he plans an elaborate ruse, asking Mira's family to lie about their caste.

This sets the tone for the chaos and comedy that ensues in the movie. [3] [4]
