Television in Ecuador is most important among the country's mass media. Television programming is dominated by telenovelas, series, and news programming. Private and government-run channels coexist at the national, regional, and local levels. Cable channels are also beginning to appear, most of which are exclusive to the companies that operate them. Finally, there are also internet television channels, some of which have specific themes like LGBT programming.
There are six private channels (Ecuavisa, Teleamazonas, RTS, Telerama, RTU, Radio y Televisión Unidas, Latele and Oromar Televisión) and four government-run channels (TC Televisión, Gama TV, Canal Uno and Ecuador TV) available throughout the country. In 2011, 83% of channels were privately owned, 17% were publicly owned, and 0% were community owned. [1]

Red UNO de Bolivia is a national Bolivian television network owned by businessman Ivo Kuljis. It started operations in April 1984 in Santa Cruz and in 1985 in La Paz. Its most notable programming is Notivisión (news) and "El Mañanero ". It also maintains affiliation deals with three channels in Potosí, Sucre and Tarija.
RedTeleSistema (RTS), is a private television station in Ecuador. The channel is owned by Albavisión. The channel is the oldest television station to operate in Ecuador since its inception; HCJB-TV signed on in Quito in 1959 but shut down in 1972.

The network was founded in 1969 and was commercially-funded for many years until 2011 when Grupo Iasaías went into a lawsuit and was sold to a state government unit, Since then the channel has been owned by SERTVSA despite a local court ruling that the Isaías brothers return all of their assets from the government.

She is the anchor on a morning news program, La Mañana de 24 Horas, and was the creator and anchor of the long-running investigative news program 30 Plus, which aired on Teleamazonas for more than a decade, investigating such subjects as human trafficking, arms trafficking, government and police corruption, and extrajudicial killings.
