Malacca City is the capital city of the Malaysian state of Malacca, in Melaka Tengah District. Melaka Sentral is the largest public transportation terminal in Malacca, Malaysia. It occupies 46.6 hectares of land and located between Lebuh AMJ and Jalan Panglima Awang and was opened on 14 May 2004. The construction of the bus terminal costed RM610,000 and begun in February 2003 and completed in the following year. It was constructed with high roofs which allows sunlight to reach the inside of the terminal building and based on the design of Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA). The bus terminal is linked to Lotus's Peringgit and Seri Cempaka retail area by an octobus linkbridge.

The Central Spine Road 2 or Malacca Strait Bridge is a proposed bridge that would connect Telok Gong, near Masjid Tanah, Malacca in Peninsular Malaysia to Rupat Island and Dumai in Sumatra island, Indonesia. The project has been submitted for government approval, and is expected to take 10 years to complete. Once completed, the 48-kilometre-long (30 mi) bridge will be the longest sea-crossing bridge in the world. The project will have two cable-stayed bridges and one suspension bridge, both the longest in the world.

Malacca Al-Quran Museum is a museum about Quran in Malacca City, Malacca, Malaysia, which was developed with the cooperation between Restu Foundation and Malacca State Government and opened to the public on 10 January 2008. Melaka United Football Club was a Malaysian professional football club based in Malacca that competed in the Malaysia Super League. They were owned by Kenteam Sdn Bhd, which is one of main nitrile glove producers in Malaysia. The club's home ground has been the Hang Tuah Stadium, before moving to Hang Jebat Stadium in Paya Rumput, Krubong in 2005. Konet Island is an islet located 100 metres off the shores of Telok Gong in Kuala Sungai Baru, Malacca, Malaysia. It is rich with corals and colourful ornamental fishes, connected to the mainland by a tombolo and is accessible by foot at low tide. Similar to Besar Island and according to local legends, the island is also believed to be the home of the elves known as Orang bunian. Another islet with similar feature, Keramat Island, is located 50 metres west of this islet.

Abdul Razak bin Abdul Rahman or more commonly known as "Tok Ajak" is a Malaysian politician who is a Member of the Malacca State Executive Council (EXCO) in the Barisan Nasional (BN) state administration under Chief Minister Ab Rauf Yusoh since April 2023 for the second term and under former Chief Minister Sulaiman Md Ali from November 2021 to March 2023 for the first term as well as Member of the Melaka State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Telok Mas since November 2021. He is the Division Chief of Kota Melaka and a Member of the Supreme Council of the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO), a component party of the BN coalition.
