Peringgit is a suburb of Malacca City and a mukim of Melaka Tengah District in the Malaysian state of Malacca. It is home to several bungalows functioning as government offices and quarters or state galleries, which were built during British colonial era and located at the top of the Bukit Peringgit Hill. [1] [2]

Melaka Sentral is the largest public transportation terminal in Malacca, Malaysia. It occupies 46.6 hectares of land and located between Lebuh AMJ and Jalan Panglima Awang and was opened on 14 May 2004. The construction of the bus terminal costed RM610,000 and begun in February 2003 and completed in the following year. It was constructed with high roofs which allows sunlight to reach the inside of the terminal building and based on the design of Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA). The bus terminal is linked to Lotus's Peringgit and Seri Cempaka retail area by an octobus linkbridge.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">SMS Muzaffar Syah</span> School in Ayer Keroh, Malacca, Malaysia

Sekolah Menengah Sains Muzaffar Syah is the only science school and one of the two fully residential schools in the state of Malacca, Malaysia. It was established in 1973 under the Second Malaysia Plan as the first boarding school in the state. The school was built on the top of a hilly area in Ayer Keroh, at 121.9 meters above sea level and in an area encompassing 12.9 hectare. Its buildings were completed in 1976 and officiated in 1983 as Sekolah Menengah Sains Melaka, later renamed Sekolah Muzaffar Syah Melaka after the fourth Sultan of the Malacca Sultanate. In 2010, the school received the High Performance School award, the school is specialised in green technology, agriculture, robotics and electronics.

Syed Ahmad bin Syed Mahmud Shahabuddin was a Malaysian politician. He was the Menteri Besar of Kedah from 1967 to 1978 and the fifth Yang di-Pertua Negeri (Governor) of Melaka state from 1984 until 2004, the longest-serving governor of Malacca.

Casa Cuba was a gallery which displayed Cuban art in Bukit Peringgit, Malacca, Malaysia. The gallery was built in June 2007 in the former senior government officer's residence during British Malaya. An initiative of the Cuban embassy in Malacca, the gallery showcases various forms of art by Cuban artists, such as paintings, lithographs and ceramics. As of 2019, it was shut down and converted into state government office.
