Ten Tales is a studio album by American jazz saxophonist Joe Lovano and French jazz drummer Aldo Romano. [4] [5] [6] The album was released on November 29, 1994, and consists of 10 original instrumental compositions recorded in Paris in 1989 plus jazz standard "Autumn in New York" composed by Vernon Duke.

Enrico Rava, is an Italian jazz trumpeter. He started on trombone, then changed to the trumpet after hearing Miles Davis.
John Laird Abercrombie was an American jazz guitarist. His work explored jazz fusion, free jazz, and avant-garde jazz. Abercrombie studied at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. He was known for his understated style and his work with organ trios.
Aldo Romano is an Italian jazz drummer. He also founded a rock group in 1971.
Oh! is a studio album by jazz ”super group” ScoLoHoFo, recorded in 2002 & released in 2003 by Blue Note Records. It features electric guitarist John Scofield, tenor saxophonist Joe Lovano, bassist Dave Holland and drummer Al Foster. Lovano had recorded three albums for Blue Note under Scofield’s leadership between 1990-1993. Scofield, Holland and Foster appeared together on Joe Henderson’s album So Near, So Far in 1993. The Oh! album includes original compositions by all four members.

It collates on three discs the entire set of recordings that made up the Prestige Records albums released from 1956 through 1961 — Miles, Cookin', Relaxin', Workin', and Steamin'. The track "'Round Midnight" was released on the album Miles Davis and the Modern Jazz Giants. The fourth disc contains live material from a television broadcast and in jazz club settings. It peaked at #15 on the Billboard jazz album chart, and was reissued on December 2, 2016, in a smaller compact disc brick packaging.
Streams of Expression is the 20th studio album by American jazz musician Joe Lovano to be released on the Blue Note label. It was released in 2006 and features a five-part "Streams of Expression Suite," three-part "Birth of the Cool Suite," and three other shorter works. The "Birth of the Cool Suite" was conducted by Gunther Schuller and utilizes melodic themes inspired by Miles Davis' work from his 1948 and 1950 nonet.
