Tetraserica shanensis is a species of beetle of the family Scarabaeidae. [1] It is found in Myanmar. [2] [3]
Adults reach a length of about 7.1–8.3 mm. The body is yellowish brown, with a darker head. The surface of the labroclypeus and the disc of the frons are glabrous. The smooth area anterior to the eye is twice as wide as long. [3]
The species is named with reference to its occurrence in the Shan state. [3]
