The California State Legislature is the bicameral state legislature of the U.S. state of California, consisting of the California State Assembly and the California State Senate. Both houses of the Legislature convene at the California State Capitol in Sacramento.
The Hawaii State Senate is the upper house of the Hawaii State Legislature. It consists of twenty-five members elected from an equal number of constituent districts across the islands and is led by the President of the Senate, elected from the membership of the body, currently Ron Kouchi. The forerunner of the Hawaii Senate during the government of the Kingdom of Hawaii was the House of Nobles originated in 1840. In 1894, the Constitution of the Republic of Hawaii renamed the upper house the present senate. Senators are elected to four-year terms and are not subject to term limits.
Texas' 1st congressional district in the United States House of Representatives serves the northeastern portion of the state of Texas. As of 2022, the 1st district contained 775,992 people. It consists largely of three small East Texas metropolitan areas—Texarkana, Texas, Longview–Marshall, and Tyler. With a Cook Partisan Voting Index rating of R+26, it is the most Republican district in Texas. It has been represented by Republican Nathaniel Moran since 2023.
Medicine Hat was a provincial electoral district in Alberta, Canada, mandated to return members to the Legislative Assembly of Alberta from 1905 to 1971, and again from 1979 to 2019. The electoral district was named after the City of Medicine Hat.

Texas's 30th congressional district of the United States House of Representatives covers much of the city of Dallas and other parts of Dallas and Tarrant counties. The district contains the University of North Texas at Dallas, UNT Law, and Texas Women's University at Dallas. The 30th district is also home to Dallas Love Field airport and University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.

The Legislative Assembly is bicameral, consisting of an upper and lower house: the Senate, whose 30 members are elected to serve four-year terms; and the House of Representatives, with 60 members elected to two-year terms. There are no term limits for either house in the Legislative Assembly.
Samuel Ealy Johnson Jr. was an American businessman and politician. He was a six-term Democratic member of the Texas House of Representatives. He served in the 29th, 30th, 35th, 37th, and 38th Texas Legislatures. He was the father of Lyndon B. Johnson, the 36th president of the United States, and the son of Samuel Ealy Johnson Sr. He was a struggling farmer and cattle speculator who lived in the Texas Hill Country.

A native of New Jersey, he moved to Oregon with his family at the age of one where he later took over the family's woolen mill business. A Republican, he served in both houses of the Oregon Legislative Assembly and four terms as the Oregon State Treasurer, the longest of anyone in that office's history.
Ronald Eugene Reynolds is an American politician and disbarred lawyer who represents District 27 in the Texas House of Representatives. He was first elected in 2010. Reynolds is the first African American elected to represent Fort Bend County in the Texas House of Representatives since the Reconstruction era.
Bill Post is an American politician, radio personality, and former Oregon State Legislator who is a member of the Republican Party. In 2014, he was elected to represent Oregon's House District 25 in the Oregon House of Representatives. He was a conservative talk radio host until March 2014, when he suspended his show after garnering a Republican primary opponent, Barbara Jensen of Keizer. He stated at the time that he would remain program director and operations manager at the radio station.

The district currently consists of the northwestern city of San Pedro. It also encompassed the western Laguna municipalities of Alaminos, Bay, Cabuyao, Calamba, Calauan, Los Baños, Pila, San Pablo, and Victoria until 1972; Biñan until 2016; and Santa Rosa until 2022. It is currently represented in the 19th Congress by Ann Matibag of Lakas–CMD.

It has been represented in the House of Representatives of the Philippines since 2010. It consists of only the city of Dasmariñas. It is currently vacant in the 19th Congress since the death of Elpidio Barzaga Jr. on April 27, 2024.

The district consists of Cavite's de facto capital city of Trece Martires and its adjacent municipalities of Amadeo, Indang, and Tanza. It is currently represented in the 19th Congress by Crispin Diego Remulla of the National Unity Party (NUP).
