District 89 is a district in the Texas House of Representatives. [2] The district contains the southeastern portion of Collin County, Texas. It contains the cities of Josephine, Lavon, Lowry Crossing, Lucas, Nevada, Parker, St. Paul, and parts of Allen, Dallas, Fairview, McKinney, Murphy, Plano, Princeton, Royse City, and Wylie. The district has been represented by Candy Noble since 2019. [3]

The Hawaii State Senate is the upper house of the Hawaii State Legislature. Texas' 1st congressional district in the United States House of Representatives serves the northeastern portion of the state of Texas. As of 2022, the 1st district contained 775,992 people. It consists largely of three small East Texas metropolitan areas—Texarkana, Texas, Longview–Marshall, and Tyler. With a Cook Partisan Voting Index rating of R+26, it is the most Republican district in Texas. It has been represented by Republican Nathaniel Moran since 2023.

Samuel Ealy Johnson Jr. was an American businessman and politician. He was a six-term Democratic member of the Texas House of Representatives. He served in the 29th, 30th, 35th, 37th, and 38th Texas Legislatures. He was the father of Lyndon B. Johnson, the 36th president of the United States, and the son of Samuel Ealy Johnson Sr. He was a struggling farmer and cattle speculator who lived in the Texas Hill Country.

A native of New Jersey, he moved to Oregon with his family at the age of one where he later took over the family's woolen mill business. Reynolds is the first African American elected to represent Fort Bend County in the Texas House of Representatives since the Reconstruction era.
Bill Post is an American politician, radio personality, and former Oregon State Legislator who is a member of the Republican Party. In 2014, he was elected to represent Oregon's House District 25 in the Oregon House of Representatives. He was a conservative talk radio host until March 2014, when he suspended his show after garnering a Republican primary opponent, Barbara Jensen of Keizer. He stated at the time that he would remain program director and operations manager at the radio station.
