Thai Regional Airlines was a short-lived airline based in Bangkok, Thailand. Their fleet includes Piper PA-31-350 Navajo Chieftain, and Airbus A320 aircraft. Plan to start A320 service to Chiang Mai and Phuket on 12 December 2012, with promotion 1000 baht per seat net. However, two days before 12 December, the airline canceled all flights until 24 December leaving paid passengers no alternative. On Dec 21, for the second time, the airline cancelled all flights until 1 April 2013 with "document and aircraft import difficulty" as a reason. This time the airline offer a full refund to passengers. [2] Most of the passengers however did not receive a refund and their calls to the office were not answered.

It operates scheduled domestic and international services and is an Indonesian associate carrier of the Malaysian AirAsia. Its main base is Soekarno–Hatta International Airport in Jakarta. Indonesia AirAsia is listed in category 1 by the Indonesian Civil Aviation Authority for airline safety quality.

TransAsia Airways was a Taiwanese airline based in Neihu District in Taipei. Scoot's airline slogan is Escape the Ordinary.
