Intira Airlines (also spelled with "Airline"; formerly Business Air) was [1] charter airline based at Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok, Thailand.
Business Air was formed in 2008 to accommodate the tourism industry and other aviation charter services. It was granted the Air Operator License and Air Operator Certificate from Department of Civil Aviation (Thailand) (DCA) in November 2009, permitting international operations, with its first flight on December 2009. [2]
The carrier has since experienced financial difficulties, with the unpaid fees of fuel surcharge, air traffic control services and aircraft lessors for more than 1 billion THB (approx. 30.7 million USD), which cause the DCA to ordered Business Air to suspend its operation on 16 January 2015, leaving more than 1,000 passengers affected. [3] However on 24 January 2015, the Administrative Court of Thailand granted the preliminary injunction, allowing the airline to resume operations in the wake of ongoing liability and litigation. [4] [5] The airline was rebranded as "Intira Airlines" in June 2015 under the new ownership, but never launched. [6]

Don Mueang International Airport is one of two international airports serving the Bangkok Metropolitan Region, the other one being Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK). Before Suvarnabhumi opened in 2006, Don Mueang was previously known as Bangkok International Airport.

Suvarnabhumi Airport, also known unofficially as Bangkok Airport, is one of two international airports serving the Bangkok Metropolitan Region, the other one being Don Mueang International Airport (DMK), which remains open as a low-cost carriers hub. Suvarnabhumi Airport covers an area of 3,240 ha, making it one of the biggest international airports in Southeast Asia and a regional hub for aviation. The airport is also a major Cargo Air Freight Hub, which has a designated Airport Free Zone, as well as road links to the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) on Motorway 7.
Orient Thai Airlines Co., Ltd. was a Thai airline with its head office in Khlong Toei, Bangkok. It operated charter and scheduled services in Southeast Asia and was based at Don Mueang International Airport. On October 9, 2018, the airline ceased all operations.

Phuket Air was an airline based in Bangkok, Thailand. The airline specialised in leasing its fleet of Boeing 747 and 737 aircraft on an ACMI as well as wet lease basis to airlines worldwide needing extra passenger capacity. Other services provided included international charter services, ad hoc wet leasing services, religious pilgrimage charters (Hajj/Umrah) and dry lease services. Saudi Arabian Airlines was a major long term client of Phuket Air. In the past, the airline provided scheduled domestic and international air services. Its main base was at Suvarnabhumi Airport, Bangkok, with a hub at Phuket International Airport, Phuket. The airline was an international scheduled carrier before it shifted its focus to the ACMI/wet lease market.
The Airport Rail Link (ARL) is an express and commuter rail line in Bangkok, Thailand. The line provides an airport rail link from Suvarnabhumi Airport, via Makkasan Station, to Phaya Thai station in central Bangkok. Most of the line is on a viaduct over the main eastern railway. It is owned by State Railway of Thailand (SRT) and, since 2021, operated by Asia Era One Company Limited. The 28.6-kilometer (17.8 mi)-long Airport Rail Link opened for service on 23 August 2010.
The Department of Civil Aviation was a government department of Thailand from 2009 to 2015. Founded in 1933 as a bureau under the Ministry of Commerce's Department of Transport, it was elevated to department status under the new Ministry of Transport in 1963, and was originally called the Department of Commercial Aviation. It was renamed the Department of Air Transport in 2002, before becoming the Department of Civil Aviation in 2009. The department's responsibilities included prescribing, regulating, and auditing Thai civil aviation, as well as the management of Thailand's government-owned civil airports.

As of September 2016, Kan Air flew nine routes. Flights from Chiang Mai were to Mae Hong Son, Pai, Nan, Khon Kaen, Ubon Ratchathani, Phitsanulok, Hua Hin, Chiang Rai, and U-Tapao. On 21 April 2017, Kan Air suspended all of its operations.

R Airlines, legally incorporated as Skyview Airways Co. Ltd., was a Thai charter airline headquartered in the Don Mueang District, Bangkok and based out of nearby Don Mueang International Airport. It ceased operations on 18 February 2018.
