Thai Summer Airways Company Limited is a low-cost airline based in Thailand, and it is a collaboration between investors from Thailand, Taiwan and China. [1] [2] In September 2020, the airline was granted its air operator's certificate, and it acquired its first aircraft in February 2022. [3] However, the airline has faced several launch delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic. [4]

The airline was founded by David Neeleman, who previously co-founded Morris Air, WestJet, JetBlue, and Azul Linhas Aereas. Breeze's operations launched on May 27, 2021, with its inaugural flight from Tampa International Airport to Charleston International Airport.
