The 8123 Tour is the fourth headlining concert tour by the American rock band the Maine, in support of their fourth studio album Forever Halloween (2013). The tour currently consists of 37 shows in North America. The tour kicked off at a free hometown show at Tempe Marketplace in Tempe, Arizona. [1]

Contents

The tour has been independently put on by the band's management team, 81 Twenty Three. The original tour line-up consists of headliner the Maine, their management-mates This Century, and fellow music business friends in A Rocket to the Moon and Brighten and visits 38 dates over 37 North American cities. [2]

The tour is unique in that fans are invited to check in regularly on the official Eighty One Twenty Three website where each of the four bands will be constantly updating the blog with an abundance of behind-the-scenes content. Fans will be in for a few surprises along the way and will be given access to the first official 8123 pop-up shop as well as an exclusive materials including a download at the end of the tour of live recordings from the shows. The tour came back to Manila, Philippines as the first leg of the tour which happened in SM North EDSA Skydome on January 12, 2014.

On May 14, 2014, 8123 announced the tour would play a leg in the UK in October 2014. [4]

A Rocket to the Moon was an American rock band formed during 2006 in Braintree, Massachusetts, United States, by Nick Santino, lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist. Guitarist and backup vocalist Justin Richards, bassist and backup vocalist Eric Halvorsen, and drummer Andrew Cook eventually joined the band, forming the final member lineup. The band has released three albums overall, two through Fueled by Ramen. Their debut studio album, Your Best Idea, was released on December 26, 2006. The New Moon Rising World Tour, also referred to as the Cosmic Egg Tour, was a concert tour by Australian rock band Wolfmother. The tour began on 17 September 2009 with a seven-show leg in Australia, followed by a short European tour in October, a North American leg comprising 24 shows and initially called for a second European leg in 2010. This was followed by an eleven show run in Australia, supporting AC/DC. The band then returned to North America, playing Lollapalooza and various other venues, including two shows in Mexico, and toured Asia and Australia in fall 2010. This Century was an American pop rock band from Phoenix, Arizona, United States. The band consisted of members Joel Kanitz, Ryan Gose, Alex Silverman, and Sean Silverman. In February 2014, Alex Silverman announced his departure from the group. In May 2015, the band announced that following the release of their third album Soul Sucker, they would be playing farewell shows and retiring the band so members could "pursue each of our passions and musical projects".
