The Black Carpet is the second studio album by American reggaeton recording artist Nicky Jam released on December 11, 2007. The first single of the album is "Gas Pela", featuring R.K.M & Ken-Y and produced by Monserrate & DJ Urba. The second single is "Ton Ton Ton", featuring R.K.M & Ken-Y and produced by Mambo Kingz.

Masterpiece is the debut album of reggaeton duo, R.K.M & Ken-Y. The album includes four singles: "Down", "Me Matas", "Dame Lo Que Quiero" and "Igual Que Ayer". The album did fairly well on the charts, peaking number two on the Top Latin Albums chart and number one on the Top Heatseekers charts. "Down" is the first single released from the debut album of the reggaeton duo R.K.M & Ken-Y, Masterpiece (2006). "Down" is sung in both English and Spanish languages. The song wasn't supposed to be a single, but due to its massive radio airplay and popularity, it became the album's second single, after "Dame Lo Que Quiero". The song was composed by Wise and Rafael Pina Nieves and produced by Mambo Kingz.

The album version features Ken-Y as the singer on the hook, while the radio edit has been redone with Frankie J. The original version of this song is by Ken-Y and is featured on his debut album as a part of the reggaeton duo R.K.M & Ken-Y: Masterpiece.

Monserrate and DJ Urba are reggaeton producers from Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic, respectively. They have been on the business for some years, but they really got a start when Daddy Yankee hired them to produce his Barrio Fino Album. Then they followed up with the Barrio Fino en Directo Album. They are aligned with Luny Tunes's Mas Flow Inc and Daddy Yankee's El Cartel Records.

The artists are renowned in the Latin music world for being the first to successfully fuse mainstream pop music with the reggaeton street rhythms of Puerto Rico and expose the style to a wide international audience. The sound introduced by R.K.M & Ken-Y would go on to inspire the pop reggaeton songs of successful acts such as CNCO, J Balvin, and Maluma. The duo had a very successful career with the Spanish-speaking audience of Latin America, the United States, and Spain until their separation in 2013. In June 2017, the duo announced their official return by Pina Records. In mid-2021 the Duo confirmed that they are on hiatus and are currently working on their solo projects.

Aura is the second studio album by Puerto Rican reggaeton artist, Ozuna. It was released on August 24, 2018, through VP Records, Dimelo VI Distribution and Sony Music Latin. It features collaborations with J Balvin, Akon, R.K.M & Ken-Y, Nicky Jam, Wisin & Yandel, Cardi B, and Romeo Santos. The album was preceded by the singles "La Modelo" and "Única", the latter of which is also remixed on the album in a version featuring Anuel AA and Wisin & Yandel.
