The Peoples Champ is the second studio album by American rapper Paul Wall. It was released on September 13, 2005, by Swishahouse, Atlantic Records and Asylum Records. The album debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200, selling 176,000 copies in its first week. This serves as his first number one in two solo studio releases, after Chick Magnet (2004). The album was supported by four singles: "Sittin' Sidewayz" featuring Big Pokey, "They Don't Know", "Girl" and "Drive Slow". Both "Sittin' Sidewayz" and "Girl" are certified gold by the RIAA for selling more than 500,000 copies each in the United States.

The Color Changin' Click was an American hip hop group formed in 2001 by Chamillionaire and Paul Wall. The group disbanded in 2005. Chamillionaire and Paul were part of a group prior to Color Changing Click called The Sleepwalkers. It's unclear if there were 3 or 4 members of the group, but PKT was definitely part of the group. Not much more is known about the group other than they used to open up for Swishahouse members prior to being in Swishahouse themselves.

Pimpalation is the second solo studio album by American rapper Pimp C from UGK. It was released on July 11, 2006 through Rap-A-Lot Records, Asylum Records and Atlantic Records, making it the rapper's last solo album released during his lifetime. Recording sessions took place at Dean's List House of Hits, at M.A.D. Studios and Studio 7303 in Houston and at PatchWerk Recording Studios in Atlanta. Production was handled by several record producers, including Mr. Lee, Mike Dean, Jazze Pha and Mannie Fresh. A chopped and screwed version of the album was mixed by DJ Michael "5000" Watts. "Still Tippin" is a song by American rapper Mike Jones, released on November 12, 2004 as his debut and lead single from his album Who Is Mike Jones? (2005). Prior to this, it was also used as a single to promote Swisha House's compilation album, The Day Hell Broke Loose 2 (2003). The song features vocals from rappers Slim Thug and Paul Wall, the latter in his first single appearance.

"Knockin' Doorz Down" is the second single off Pimp C's second album Pimpalation. It features P.O.P. & Lil Keke. In the music video, directed by Benny Mathews, the third verse is rapped by Pimp C instead of Lil Keke. Lil Flip, Mike Jones, Trae, Bun B, & J. Prince also made cameo appearances. In the song, Pimp C raps about Houston's current status. He also tries to squash altercations with T.I. for using the term 'King of the South' with his lyrics "If them niggaz come together you know how much paper we could see?". Houston hip hop artists Lil' Flip, Slim Thug, & Z-Ro are also mentioned. He also talked about how Paul Wall & Chamillionaire breaking up and going separate ways. Moreover, he raps about Lil Keke and his new album with Swishahouse. The video is given a Godfather theme. The video was not as popular as videos for songs like 'Pourin' Up', mainly because there are several displays of graphic violence. However, it was nominated for Best Video at the 2007 Ozone Magazine Awards.
