The End Continues is the upcoming fourth studio album by the fictional comedy rock band Spinal Tap, scheduled for release on September 12, 2025, through Interscope Records. [2]
The album will consist of nine new tracks, while there are four re-recordings of "classic" Spinal Tap songs. [3] Paul McCartney, Elton John, Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood are collaborators on the album. [3]
A re-recorded "Stonehenge" featuring Elton John was released on July 31, 2025, as the album's first single. [1] "Stonehenge" was initially included on the fictional band's 1984 debut album This is Spinal Tap , albeit without John's contributions. [4] Its release will coincide with Spinal Tap II: The End Continues, a sequel to the 1984 mockumentary This is Spinal Tap. [5]
