"The Flood" is a song performed by the Georgian-born, British singer Katie Melua and the lead single from her 4th studio album The House. It was released on 17 May 2010 by Digital download and by CD on 24 May 2010.
The music video was directed by Kevin Godley, who has also directed videos for Eric Clapton and U2, as well as having directed the video for Melua's "Nine Million Bicycles". [1] It features Melua performing the song playing the piano on a spinning platform surrounded by male dancers.
Nick Levine of Digital Spy gave the song a favorable review, stating, "there's no doubting her sincerity." He felt the song was both positive and interesting, with a blend of styles and tempos that he described as "supremely elegant and subtly adventurous". [2]

"The Closest Thing to Crazy" is the debut single of Georgia-born singer Katie Melua. The song is featured on her first studio album, Call Off the Search (2003). The song was written as part of the musical Men Who March Away, and appeared first in 1995 on Mike Batt's album Arabesque.
"Nine Million Bicycles" is a song written and produced by Mike Batt for the singer Katie Melua's second album, Piece by Piece. It was released as the album's first single in September 2005 and reached number five on the UK Singles Chart, becoming Melua's first top five hit as a solo artist. It was a finalist for The Record of the Year prize, losing to "You Raise Me Up" by Westlife.
"If You Were a Sailboat" is a song by British singer Katie Melua. Written and produced by Mike Batt, it is Melua's ninth single and the first from her third album, Pictures (2007). Melua said of the song:
What I liked about the song is the fact that a lot of love songs tend to deal with the fluffy nice side of love, but this one deals with how you get very selfish when you fall in love with someone, and you don't want to share them with the world, you just want them all about yourself. What's genius about Mike's lyrics is that instead of saying that directly he uses these crazy strange metaphors, "if you were a piece of wood I'd nail you to the floor" and quite bizarre stuff and I like that. Musically it sounds like a really nice smooth love song, but the message is pretty intense and quite dark.
"Release Me" is a pop song recorded by Swedish singer Agnes Carlsson taken from her third studio album, Dance Love Pop (2008). The track was written by Carlsson, Anders Hansson and Sharon Vaughn. It was released as the album's second single in Sweden and as Agnes's debut single internationally. "Release Me" was another top ten hit for Agnes in Sweden and also charted in Belgium, Denmark, Ireland, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom. Worldwide, the single sold over 900,000 copies, making it Agnes' biggest hit to date.
"Mama Do " is the debut single by English singer and songwriter Pixie Lott released as the lead single from her debut studio album, Turn It Up (2009). Written and produced by Mads Hauge and Phil Thornalley, the song was released digitally in the United Kingdom on 6 June 2009 and physically on CD 8 June 2009. It debuted at number one on the UK Singles Chart. Aged 18, Lott was one of the youngest singers to have a UK number-one single since Britney Spears in 1999. "Mama Do " received positive reviews from music critics.

Written alongside Frédéric Riesterer, who produced it with Guetta, it was released in February 2010 as the fourth single from his fourth studio album, One Love. The song became a top five hit in Guetta's native country of France as well as Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Australia, the Netherlands, Finland, Poland, New Zealand, and Ireland; it charted within the top ten in Germany, Hungary, Switzerland, and Denmark, with the song reaching a peak of 46 in Cudi's native of the US, where it also achieved platinum certification by the RIAA. It is the lead single from her self-titled debut studio album, released in the United States on September 7, 2010. The upbeat dance-pop and house rhythm behind the track was entirely sampled from electronic artist Deadmau5's "Brazil ". The lyrics were written by Autumn Rowe, and the track was re-edited for the lyrics by Stargate.
