Tommy is the fourth studio album by the English rock band The Who, a double album first released on 17 May 1969. The album was mostly composed by guitarist Pete Townshend, and is a rock opera that tells the story of Tommy Walker. Tommy is traumatized from witnessing his father murder his mother's lover. Tommy's parents compound his trauma by denying the experience. In reaction, Tommy becomes dissociative. Tommy then experiences the trauma of being sexually abused. As a way of coping with his trauma, Tommy dissociates further through playing pinball. He gains a following because of his skill at playing pinball. After numerous misguided attempts to heal Tommy, a doctor prescribes him a mirror so he can confront himself and his experience. Instead, Tommy becomes self-absorbed and comes to think of himself as a messianic figure. When the mirror is eventually broken, Tommy comes out of his dissociative state. Tommy then tries to lead his followers to believe that the only path to healing is through him. His followers eventually reject him and his teachings.
McFly are an English pop band formed in London in 2003. The band took their name from the Back to the Future character Marty McFly. The band consists of Tom Fletcher, Danny Jones, Dougie Poynter and Harry Judd (drums). They were signed to Island Records from their 2004 launch until December 2007, before creating their own label, Super Records.
Thomas Michael Fletcher is an English singer, musician, songwriter, composer, author and vlogger. He is one of the lead vocalists and rhythm guitarist of English pop rock band McFly, in addition to being the group's founder. He originally auditioned for, and was accepted into the band Busted before losing out on the place after the record label decided the band should be a trio rather than a four-piece, but still carried on writing with the band.
Dougie Lee Poynter is an English musician, songwriter, fashion model, aspiring clothing designer, children's author and actor. He is the bassist of the pop rock band McFly.

"5 Colours in Her Hair" is the debut single by English pop rock band McFly. It was also the band's first UK number one. It stayed at the top for two weeks. The song was written by Tom Fletcher, James Bourne, Danny Jones and Ben Sargeant. The track is especially well known for its "Doo, doo, doo, doo, doo, doo!" lyrics, played at the beginning and at the ending of the song. The CD and 7-inch formats features a duet with Busted singing a cover of the Kinks song "Lola".

Despite its initial popularity, it plunged to number eight during its second week on the chart and spent only a month inside the UK top 40.

"Baby's Coming Back" is a cover of a song originally written, performed, and recorded in 1990 by the American power pop band Jellyfish, while "Transylvania" is an original by McFly. The single debuted at number one on the UK Singles Chart but fell to number 20 the following week, setting the record for the biggest drop off number one until 2016, when "A Bridge over You" by the Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Choir fell to number 29 from the top spot.

The DVD was released on 3 December 2007. The DVD also includes all 18 of McFly's Music Videos to date of release except for "Baby's Coming Back", which was dropped for unknown reasons.
Songs We Remember is the third album by the re-incarnated version of the Quarrymen, which was the band that eventually evolved into the Beatles. It is also the final album to feature founder member Eric Griffiths before his death in 2005.
Get Back – Together is the second album by the reformed Liverpool band the Quarrymen, which was the band that, in its original conception, evolved into the Beatles. It is also the first of two albums by the band that feature all surviving founding members together, as while the name the Quarrymen name was used in the 1994 album Open for Engagements seen as the first album since the reformation, it only featured Rod Davis and part-time member John Duff Lowe. Eric Griffiths and Len Garry make their first appearances on a studio recording with drummer Colin Hanton also returning to the band for the first time since 1959, having previously appeared on the "In Spite of All The Danger" recording in 1958 as a b-side to a cover of Buddy Hollys "That'll Be the Day". It is also the only full length album featuring Pete Shotton who also returned to the band in 1997 but later retired due to ill health. Shotton subsequently died in 2017.
Radio:Active is the fourth studio album by English pop rock band McFly. It is the band's first album under their new, self-created label, Super Records. The album was first released via a promotion with the Mail on Sunday on 20 July 2008. The album was officially released on 22 September 2008, with the official release being branded the 'Deluxe Edition'.
"That's the Truth" is the third single from McFly's fifth studio album, Above the Noise. The single was first confirmed by band members Tom Fletcher and Dougie Poynter in a web chat on the group's official website, SuperCity. Graham Norton premiered the song on British radio on 15 January 2011, on his drivetime slot on BBC Radio 2. The single was released on 7 March 2011.
Memory Lane: The Best of McFly is the second greatest hits compilation released by the English pop rock band McFly. It was released on 26 November 2012 as a retrospective of the band's nine-year career to date, containing a number of the band's hit singles, but most notably not including "I Wanna Hold You", "Ultraviolet/The Ballad of Paul K", "Please, Please", "Sorry's Not Good Enough", "Baby's Coming Back", "Stay with Me" or "That's the Truth". The album was preceded by the release of a brand new single, "Love Is Easy", and includes four other new tracks, "Do Whatcha", "Down Down", "Mess Around You" and "Cherry Cola".
