The Jamboree (music festival)

The Jamboree (stylized as The JAMboree) is an annual music festival held in Toledo, Ohio. The concert was originally only one day, but it has since expanded to both Saturday and Sunday. The festival features mostly metalcore and hardcore bands and also various merchandise booths.

2013 was the first year to feature events other than the festival. A pre-party was held on Friday, April 12 at Frankies Inner City in Toledo, and featured performances from Fireworks, Louder Than Bombs, React, and The Fight Within. [4] An after-party was also held at Frankies after Day 1 and featured a performance from Andrew W.K. [5]

The Bamboozle is an annual three-day music festival which was held in New Jersey from 2003 to 2012, and was scheduled for a 2023 revival in Atlantic City by its founder. Every year, new bands competed for spots during the two days. The event evolved out of the Skate and Surf Festival. The 2012 event was the final one of its original run, as founder John D'Esposito subsequently left Bamboozle due to creative differences with organizing partners.

The Summer Slaughter Tour is an annual heavy metal music tour held every year since 2007. It originated in North America in 2007 and has toured in Canada in 2008, Europe in 2008, and Australia and New Zealand in 2009. Billed as "The Most Extreme Tour of the Year", Summer Slaughter has earned a reputation as being one of the few summer tours to cater exclusively to fans of extreme forms of metal music. Starting in 2012, Summer Slaughter began to add more progressive metal bands to their lineups, seeing Between the Buried and Me co-headline with Cannibal Corpse. Founded in 2006 by Bozeman and Savage, the band has released eight studio albums and fourteen music videos, and are currently signed to Metal Blade Records. Glass Cloud was an American metalcore band from Hampton, Virginia formed by Jerry Roush, Joshua Travis, Travis Sykes, and Chad Hasty in late 2011. The band released their debut album, The Royal Thousand on July 10, 2012 via Equal Vision Records in the United States and Basick Records in the United Kingdom. Lead vocalist Roush was formerly the vocalist of Sky Eats Airplane and Of Mice & Men, while Joshua Travis was the guitarist for The Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza until 2012. Perfect War Forever EP was released October 22, 2013 via Equal Vision Records.

Legion is an American deathcore band from Columbus, Ohio currently signed to Good Fight Entertainment and eOne Music. Their debut album, Woke was released on July 30, 2013. The band has been said to use elements of heavy hardcore, beatdown, and metallic hardcore in their music with an emphasis of slowed-down riffs and guttural vocals similar to The Acacia Strain and Whitechapel.

Obey the Brave was a Canadian hardcore punk band From Montreal, Quebec and Ottawa, Ontario. Formed in 2012, the band features Despised Icon singer Alex Erian on vocals as well as Blind Witness bassist Miguel Lepage, guitarists John Campbell and Greg Wood, and drummer Stevie Morotti. By the middle of 2012, just over half a year after becoming a band, the metalcore act found itself signed to iconic label Good Fight, with the EP, Ups And Downs, released in 2012. They signed to the label Epitaph, with the band's debut studio album, Young Blood, released in August of that same year. A sophomore album, Salvation, followed in 2014. The third album Mad Season was followed up in 2017. The fourth album Balance was followed up in 2019.
