The Marlborough is a condominium building located at 471 West South Street in Kalamazoo, Michigan. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. [1]
Planning for the Marlborough lasted several years, with local architectural firm Billingham & Cobb drawing up the plans. Construction started in 1923, inder the supervision of contractor Henry L. Vanderhorst, and lasted until 1924. The building reportedly cost over a quarter of a million dollars to construct; when it opened, it was the city's finest and most luxurious apartment building, with utilities, ice, telephone, laundry, maid, and janitor services included in the rent. The Marlborough was converted into condominiums in the late 1970s. [2]
The Marlborough is a six-story, H-shaped, brown brick apartment building. The first floor of the building contains office space, with the upper floors devoted to housing. The building has Mediterranean bracketing and tile work at the roofline. The entranceway is recessed in the center of the H, and surrounded with delicate colored glass windows. A small courtyard on one side of the structure visually complements the building. [2]

The Brittany Apartment Building is a historic apartment building in downtown Cincinnati, Ohio, United States. A Queen Anne structure constructed in 1885, it is a six-story rectangular structure with a flat roof, built with brick walls and elements of wood and sandstone. It was built by the firm of Thomas Emery's Sons, Cincinnati's leading real estate developers during the 1880s. It is one of four large apartment complexes erected by the Emerys during the 1880s; only the Brittany and the Lombardy Apartment Buildings have endured to the present day. Both the Lombardy and the Brittany were built in 1885 according to designs by Samuel Hannaford; at that time, his independent architectural practice was gaining great prominence in the Cincinnati metropolitan area.
The Healey Building, at 57 Forsyth Street NW, in the Fairlie-Poplar district of Atlanta, was the last major skyscraper built in that city during the pre-World War I construction boom. Designed by the firm of Morgan & Dillon, with assistance from Walter T. Downing, in the Gothic Revival style, the 16-story structure was built between 1913-1914. It was originally planned with two facing towers connected by an atrium, taking up an entire city block. During construction, steelworker Billy Newburn fell to his death in 1913.The east tower along Broad Street was never constructed due to World War I and the subsequent death of owner William T. Healey in 1920.
The Atlanta Biltmore Hotel and Biltmore Apartments is a historic building located in Atlanta, Georgia. The complex, originally consisting of a hotel and apartments, was developed by William Candler, son of Coca-Cola executive Asa Candler, with Holland Ball Judkins and John McEntee Bowman. The original hotel building was converted to an office building in 1999. The building is currently owned by the Georgia Institute of Technology and is adjacent to Technology Square.
The Gladstone and Hawarden Apartment Buildings are historic twin buildings located in the Logan Circle neighborhood of Washington, D.C. Built in 1900 and 1901, the Gladstone and Hawarden are early examples of middle class apartment buildings in the city. They were designed in the Romanesque Revival architectural style by prominent local architect George S. Cooper. The buildings, since converted into condominiums and a housing cooperative, were added to the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) in 1994.

Christodora House is a historic building located at 143 Avenue B in the East Village/Alphabet City neighborhoods of Manhattan, New York City. It was designed by architect Henry C. Pelton in the American Perpendicular Style and constructed in 1928 as a settlement house for low-income and immigrant residents, providing food, shelter, and educational and health services.
Cast Iron House at the corner of Franklin Street and Broadway in the Tribeca neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City, formerly known as the James White Building, was built in 1881–82 and was designed by W. Wheeler Smith in the Italianate style. It features a cast-iron facade, and is a good example of late cast-iron architecture. The building was renovated by architect Joseph Pell Lombardi in 2000, and a restoration of the facade began in 2009. The building once housed the offices of Scientific American from 1884 to 1915, but it was primarily used in connection with the textile trade.
Cooper Arms Apartments is a registered historic building located on Ocean Boulevard in downtown Long Beach, California. The twelve-story Renaissance Revival apartment tower was built in 1923. It was one of the first structures to be designated a Long Beach Historical Landmark when the city launched its historic preservation program in 1980, and it was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2000. It is currently operated as condominiums.
The Reid House at 1325-1327 Peachtree St., NE, in Atlanta, Georgia, known also as Garrison Apartments and as 1325 Apartments, was built as a luxury apartment building in 1924. It was the third luxury apartment building built in Atlanta. It received a $2 million renovation during 1974 and was converted to a luxury condominium building in 1975. The ten-story building was designed by architect Philip T. Shutze of architectural firm Hentz, Reid and Adler in Classical Revival architecture. The 1974 renovation was by architect Eugene I. Lowry.
The Altadena Apartments in Salt Lake City, Utah, which includes the Altadena Flats and the Sampson Altadena Condominiums, were built in 1905 or 1906 by the Octavius Sampson family at cost of $21,000. The building has Tuscan columns, pediments, and dentillated cornices.
Colonial Village is a historic garden apartment complex located at Arlington County, Virginia, United States. It contains 226 contributing buildings built in four stages between 1935 and 1940. The buildings hold approximately 1,055 apartments. The brick Colonial Revival-style buildings are situated around courtyards with clusters of five and seven buildings to larger groupings of up to thirteen. Colonial Village was the first Federal Housing Administration-insured, large-scale, rental housing project erected in the United States. The complex has been converted to condominiums split into three phases and two apartment complexes: Colonial Village Apartments and Colonial Village West.
Cambridge Tower is a building in Austin, Texas, United States, that opened in 1965 as a luxury apartment tower. The building was designed by Dallas-based architect Thomas E. Stanley, and contains numerous New Formalism architectural elements including balconies adorned with brise soleil columns and ornamental breeze blocks. The building currently operates as a condominium. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on June 20, 2018.

A part of the Fox Theatre Historic District, the building is located at the intersection of Peachtree Street and Ponce de Leon Avenue in midtown Atlanta. It was built by the George A. Fuller Company in 1913, with William Lee Stoddart as the building's architect. The building was designated a Landmark Building by the government of Atlanta in 1993.
