The Neverclaim is a Christian contemporary Christian music band from Portland, Oregon. They are on the Essential Records label, which they released their first studio album on September 24, 2013, entitled The Neverclaim . Their second album, The Joy , was released from The Fuel Music in association with Radiate Music, in 2015.

Background

The Neverclaim are from Portland, Oregon and Houston, Texas, but their home church is The Vineyard in Vancouver, Washington. [4] The quartet claim as influences to their musical style the likes of Third Day, Kevin Prosch, Rich Mullins, Bruce Springsteen, Keith Green, Hall and Oates, The Decemberists, Foo Fighters, Keith Urban and Vineyard Worship. [4] Also, The Neverclaim have been compared to such acts as Copeland, Coldplay, Anberlin and Radiohead. [5] They have been noted for having a sound in their music and vocal that is similar to Needtobreathe, Third Day, NewSong, while having lyrics like One Sonic Society and All Sons & Daughters. [6] The Neverclaim credits John Wimber, Charles Spurgeon, Ravi Zacharias, Alistair Begg, Chuck Swindoll, John Piper, Robby Dawkins, Todd White and Phil Strout as their influences on their life and ministry. [4] Lastly, Mac Powell was the person responsible for introducing them to their label Essential Records. [4]

In August 2013, the band were signed to Essential Records, which is a major Christian music label in the United States. [7]

Independent albums

The Neverclaim released three independent albums starting with 2007's I Became Low on Break of Day, 2010's Quietdown on Come&Live! and 2012's Revival with Vineyard Worship and Come&Live! labels. [3]

The Neverclaim

On September 24, 2013, The Neverclaim released their eponymously entitled The Neverclaim album that charted at No. 47 the Top Heatseekers Albums chart, for the Billboard charting week of October 12, 2013. [8] In addition, the Billboard charting week of October 19, 2013 saw the album chart at No. 48 on the Top Christian Albums chart, and the album rose on the Top Heatseekers Albums chart to the No. 34 placement. The Joy

Their second album, The Joy , was released on July 17, 2015, with The Fuel Music in tandem with Radiate Music, and produced by Ian Eskelin.

XXI (formerly, A Feast for Kings (AFFK)) is an American Christian metal band that also takes influences from Alternative metal and Post-hardcore. They come from Carrollton, Kentucky, where they were formed in 2010, with lead vocalist Eric Gentry. Eric's death in 2014 was the reasoning behind the band's name change, with 'XXI' (Roman numerals for '21') being Eric's age at the time of his death. Their first extended play, Hell on Earth, was released in 2014, shortly before Eric's death, and under their former name. The debut studio album, Inside Out, was released with Carson Butcher as lead vocalist on Tooth & Nail Records in 2015. This album was their breakthrough album on both the Billboard magazine Christian Albums and Heatseekers Albums charts.

Rival Choir, formerly known as Mouth of the South, was an American Christian post-hardcore and metalcore band from Denton, Texas formed in 2007. The band signed with Facedown Records in January 2014. Struggle Well was the band's last album under the name Mouth of the South. After announcing their change from Mouth of the South to Rival Choir, their new album—I Believe, Help My Unbelief—was released on February 5, 2016, also by Facedown Records. On November 18, the band released the debut single from the new album, entitled "Aftermath".

StompTown Revival, also known as STR, are an American Christian music duo from Nashville, Tennessee, and they started making music together in 2012. The first extended play, StompTown Revival, was released in 2012 by Save the City Music. This EP charted on two Billboard magazine charts.
