The Day Today is a British comedy television show that parodies television news and current affairs programmes, broadcast from 19 January to 23 February 1994 on BBC2. It was created by Armando Iannucci and Chris Morris and is an adaptation of the radio programme On the Hour, which was broadcast on BBC Radio 4 between 9 August 1991 and 28 May 1992 and was also written by Morris, Iannucci, Steven Wells, Andrew Glover, Stewart Lee, Richard Herring, David Quantick, and the cast. For The Day Today, Peter Baynham joined the writing team, and Lee and Herring were replaced by Graham Linehan and Arthur Mathews. The principal cast of On the Hour was retained for The Day Today.
Television Broadcasts Limited (TVB) is a television broadcasting company based in Hong Kong. The company operates five free-to-air terrestrial television channels in Hong Kong, with TVB Jade as its main Cantonese language service, and TVB Pearl as its main English service. TVB is headquartered at TVB City at the Tseung Kwan O Industrial Estate.

The Asian Television Awards, is an appreciation to recognize and reward programming and production excellence in the Asian television industry. The Conquest is a television series based on the conflict between the states of Wu and Yue during the Spring and Autumn period of Chinese history. The series was jointly produced by Hong Kong's TVB and mainland China's CCTV under executive producers Tommy Leung and Raymond Chai. It was renamed to Legend of the Heroic Duo for the mainland China release, where it aired two episodes every night on Zhejiang Satellite TV (ZJSTV) from 6 June to 28 June 2006, totalling 49 episodes. In Hong Kong, The Conquest aired five days a week on the TVB Jade network from 18 December 2006 to 10 February 2007, totalling 42 episodes.

She has been seen reporting bilingually for the network’s Chinese-speaking channels, TVB Jade and TVB News Channel as well. Chiu attended St. Paul's Convent School and obtained her bachelor’s degree at the University of Hong Kong.
