The Reluctant Landlord is a British comedy television series created by Romesh Ranganathan. The series stars Romesh Ranganathan, Sian Gibson and Nick Helm. It premiered in the UK on 30 October 2018. [1] A second series premiered on 4 September 2019.

Plebs is a British comedy series broadcast on ITV2. It was first broadcast in March 2013, and is produced by Tom Basden, Caroline Leddy, Sam Leifer and Teddy Leifer. It stars Tom Rosenthal, Ryan Sampson, Joel Fry, and Jonathan Pointing, who play young residents of ancient Rome. The format has been compared to The Inbetweeners, Up Pompeii and Blackadder. The first series, comprising six episodes, was broadcast between 25 March and 22 April 2013. Three subsequent series of eight episodes each were broadcast between 22 September and 3 November 2014, between 4 April and 16 May 2016, and between 9 April and 21 May 2018. A fifth series was commissioned with Rosenthal, Sampson and Pointing all returning. The fifth series started on 30 September 2019, ending on 11 November 2019. On 30 April 2020 it was confirmed a sixth series would not be commissioned and instead the series would end with a feature-length special.

Romesh Ranganathan English comedian and actor

Jonathan Romesh Ranganathan is an English stand-up comedian, presenter and actor. He is known for his deadpan and often self-deprecating comedy.

Susan Indiaba Wokoma is a British actress and writer. She is best known for her roles as "Raquel" in the E4/Netflix show Crazyhead and "Cynthia" in Chewing Gum. Wokoma was listed as one of Europe's Forbes 30 Under 30 in 2017 and named a BAFTA Breakthrough Brit by an international jury, later that year.

<i>Taskmaster</i> (TV series) British comedy panel game show

Taskmaster is a British comedy panel game show created by comedian and musician Alex Horne and presented by both Horne and Greg Davies. In the programme, a group of five celebrities – mainly comedians – attempt to complete a series of challenges, with Horne acting as umpire in each challenge, and Davies judging the work and awarding points based on contestants' performances. The concept for the programme was first created by Horne for the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2010; he later secured a deal with Dave to adapt it for television, with the first episode premiering in 2015. <i>Frankie Boyles New World Order</i>

Frankie Boyle's New World Order is a British comedy television programme presented by Frankie Boyle. Following on from his BBC iPlayer-exclusive "Autopsy" shows, Boyle returned to prime time TV on BBC Two. New World Order follows a very similar structure to the aforementioned programmes. After a few minutes of stand-up, Boyle makes two statements and discusses them with his guests. Boyle then summarises the debate in a short monologue to camera, unlike the "Autopsy" shows where each discussion concluded with the studio audience voting on whether they agreed with the statement. Each show finishes with Boyle sitting against the desk delivering a final longer monologue to camera. The show was premiered on 8 June 2017. In the first series, Sara Pascoe and Katherine Ryan appear as regular guests, with two other comedians, writers or journalists joining the panel each week.

Hypothetical is a British television comedy panel show created by British comedian Josh Widdicombe, with Tom Craine and Matthew Crosby. Widdicombe hosts the show alongside fellow comedian James Acaster. The TV series features teams of celebrity guests, who are presented with a bizarre hypothetical situation by Widdicombe. The guests must explain how they would deal with the situation, following the rules given by Acaster, who then awards points based on how well he thinks they have done. The show was first broadcast on Dave on 6 February 2019.

<i>The Ranganation</i>

The Ranganation is a British comedy show hosted by Romesh Ranganathan and broadcast on BBC Two. Ranganathan joins a group of 25 members of the public, including his mother, to discuss news events of the week. Two celebrity guests are also featured. The first series of six 45-minute episodes premiered on 19 May 2019. The second series of six episodes was filmed remotely due to the COVID-19 pandemic and first aired on 10 May 2020.

<i>Daisy & Ollie</i> Childrens television series

Daisy & Ollie is a British children's animated series for preschoolers produced by CHF Entertainment and Hoopla Studio for Cartoonito and Channel 5's Milkshake! block. The show follows the daily life of two little kids named Daisy and Ollie, along with Daisy's father, Boo the purple monkey and Whizzy the toy robot. As of 8 March 2021, new episodes have also appeared concurrently on Channel 5.
