The State I'm In is the debut album by the American musician Louie Louie. [3] It was released in April 1990[ citation needed ] via WTG Records in the US and on July 30, 1990, via Epic Records in the UK. [4] It is his only album to date to chart on the Billboard 200, peaking at No. 136. [5] The lead single "Sittin' in the Lap of Luxury" is also his only hit so far on the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at No. 19. [5]
