General elections were held in South Africa on 8 May 2019 to elect a new President, National Assembly and provincial legislatures in each province. These were the sixth elections held since the end of apartheid in 1994 and determined who would become the next President of South Africa.

She is a member of the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF). Mokause was a Member of the Northern Cape Provincial Legislature from May 2014 to April 2015. She was appointed to the National Assembly of South Africa, the lower house of Parliament, in April 2015 and served in the chamber until January 2018. After the May 2019 general election, she returned to the National Assembly, but resigned in September. In March 2020, she was selected to represent the EFF in the upper house.
Ayanda Precious Bans is a South African politician serving as a Member of the Western Cape Provincial Parliament since May 2019. She is a member of the African National Congress and represents the Central Karoo constituency.
Nosipho Makamba-Botya is a South African politician who has served as a member of the National Assembly of South Africa since June 2023, representing the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF). She previously served as an EFF councillor in the City of Cape Town and before that as a Member of the Western Cape Provincial Parliament. She became an MPP in May 2019 and served as the party's chief whip. Makamba-Botya was also the deputy chairperson of the EFF in the province.

Mgcini Tshwaku is a South African politician and member of the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) who has served as the City of Johannesburg's Member of the Mayoral Committee (MMC) for Safety and Security since 2023. Prior to serving as Johannesburg city council, he was a Member of the Gauteng Provincial Legislature between 2014 and 2017 and a Member of the National Assembly of South Africa from 2017 until 2023.
Aishah Cassiem is a South African politician and former investigative journalist who has been a member of the Western Cape Provincial Parliament representing the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) since 3 February 2023. Cassiem is also the Provincial Treasurer of the EFF in the Western Cape.
Mandisa Makesini is a South African politician who has been a member of the National Assembly of South Africa since February 2023, representing the Economic Freedom Fighters party. She previously served in the Free State Provincial Legislature. Makesini is a former provincial chairperson of the EFF.
Abednigo Vusumuzi Khoza is a South African politician who has been a member of the National Assembly of South Africa since February 2023. He previously served in the KwaZulu-Natal Legislature from May 2014 to February 2023. Khoza is a member of the Economic Freedom Fighters party.
Mlamli Alfred Makhetha is a South African politician who served as a member of the Eastern Cape Provincial Legislature. He was previously deputy provincial chairperson of the Economic Freedom Fighters in the Eastern Cape and before that, the provincial secretary.
Simthembile Madikizela is a South African politician who has been a member of the Eastern Cape Provincial Legislature since 2023. He is the current provincial secretary of the Economic Freedom Fighters.
Kgotso Zachariah Morapela is a South African politician for the Economic Freedom Fighters. He was the party's provincial chairman in the Free State until 2018 and represented the party in the National Assembly and the Free State Provincial Legislature.
