At the 1908 Summer Olympics in London, nine wrestling events were contested, all for men. There were four weight classes in Greco-Roman wrestling and five weight classes in freestyle wrestling.
Knut Andreas "Knatten" Lindberg was a Swedish athlete who competed at the 1906 Intercalated Games and the 1908 and 1912 Summer Olympics. He had his best results in 1906, when he won a silver medal in javelin throw and finished fifth in ancient pentathlon and sixth in the 100 m race. He won another silver medal in 1912, with the Swedish 4 × 100 m relay team, but failed to reach the finals in all his other events in 1908 and 1912, which included sprint and javelin throw.

Axel Vilhelm Teodor Cadier was a Swedish wrestler. He competed in Greco-Roman events at the 1932 and 1936 Summer Olympics and won a bronze and a gold medal, respectively.
Johan Cornelius "Snövit" Richthoff was a Swedish wrestler. He competed in the freestyle heavyweight division at the 1924, 1928 and 1932 Summer Olympics and won gold medals in 1928 and 1932; he shared fourth place in 1924.
Erik Malmberg was a Swedish wrestler. He competed at the 1924, 1928 and 1932 Summer Olympics in Greco-Roman events and won a bronze, a silver, and a gold medal, respectively. His younger brother Algost also took part in the 1928 Games, but as a freestyle wrestler. Malmberg was a businessman by trade.
Carl "Calle" Oscar Westergren was a Swedish wrestler who competed in the 1920, 1924, 1928, and 1932 Summer Olympics. He won gold medals in Greco-Roman wrestling in 1920, 1924 and 1932; in 1924 he also finished sixth in freestyle wrestling.
Ernst Hilding Waldemar Nilsson was a Swedish heavyweight wrestler who competed at the 1912, 1920 and 1924 Summer Olympics. He won a bronze medal in freestyle wrestling in 1920 and placed fourth-fifth in the Greco-Roman and freestyle contests in 1924. Nilsson won two world titles in Greco-Roman wrestling, in 1913 and 1922.
Sara Anne Eriksson is a retired amateur Swedish freestyle wrestler, who competed in the women's middleweight category. Considered one of the world's top female wrestlers of her decade, Eriksson has yielded a remarkable tally of fourteen career medals, including two golds at the World Championships and three more at the European Championships. She also had an opportunity to compete for Sweden at the 2004 Summer Olympics, finishing tenth in the 63-kg division. Before her sporting career ended shortly after the Games, Eriksson trained as a member of the wrestling team for Örgryte Sporting Club in Gothenburg, under her personal coach and husband Pierre Dikanda.
