"Those Nights" was premiered on Beats 1 with Zane Lowe on 4 June 2019. The band played music festivals in the UK and across Europe from May to August 2019 in support of the album.

In a departure from the high energy of “Another Place”, taking place at 4:52 AM, “Those Nights” slows things down as the story of Doom Days continues. The time is now 5:46 AM and the party is over but Dan is still awake as the sun begins to rise. He has found a person to go home with but wonders if what they crave is a momentary escape or something more, someone to form a loving connection with. Although it is clear he does not know the person well, not even knowing their name, Dan resolves that what he truly wants is a companion to find hope in while the world around him appears to be falling apart.
