Tiarn Collins (born 9 November 1999) is a New Zealand snowboarder, specialising in slopestyle and big air competitions. [1] He is representing New Zealand in the slopestyle and big air events at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing. [2]
Born in Brisbane, Australia, Collins moved to New Zealand with his family when he was eight years old, settling in Queenstown. [1] He is of Māori descent, affiliating to Ngāi Tahu. [3] Collins was home schooled after attending Wakatipu High School up to the end of year 10. [4] [5]
Collins competed in the 2016 Youth Olympic Games, where he finished fourth in slopestyle and fifth in the halfpipe. The following year, at the Junior World Championships, he won bronze in slopestyle. [6] He was selected in the New Zealand team for the 2018 Winter Olympics, but dislocated his shoulder in the lead-up to competition and was unable to compete. [7]
In the 2019–2020 season, Collins had his first World Cup slopestyle victory, winning at Calgary on 16 February 2020. He best result in the 2020-2021 World Cup was 15th in slopestyle. [1] The following season, in the lead-up to the 2022 Winter Olympics, he finished third in slopestyle at the World Cup event at Mammoth Mountain and gained selection for the 2022 Winter Olympics. [7]
At the 2022 Winter Olympics, Collins finished 18th in the men's slopestyle. [1]
Jamie Louise Anderson is an American professional snowboarder. She won the gold medal in the inaugural Women's Slopestyle Event at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia and repeated the feat at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea, making her the first female snowboarder to win more than one Olympic gold medal. She has won gold medals in slopestyle at the Winter X Games in consecutive years in 2007/8 and 2012/3. She has 21 X Games medals and is the second most decorated athlete
Ståle Sandbech is a Norwegian snowboarder, who specialises in Big Air, and Slopestyle. He has participated at the 2010, 2014, 2018, and 2022 Winter Olympics and won a silver medal in the Men's slopestyle in 2014. Sandbech has also competed at several Winter X Games, winning 2 Silver medals in 2015 and 2017 and 3 bronze medals in 2013 and 2014, and a gold medal at the 2017 World Championships.
Sébastien Toutant is a Canadian snowboarder. He is the Olympic gold medallist in men's big air snowboarding at the 2018 Winter Olympics. Toutant was twice the gold medal winner in slopestyle at the X Games in 2011 and 2013. He has also won two silver medals and a bronze in slopestyle and big air events at the X Games, bringing his total medals in the competition to five.
Mark Lee McMorris is a Canadian professional snowboarder who specializes in slopestyle and big air events. A three-time Olympic bronze medallist, he placed third in each of the 2014 Winter Olympics, 2018 Winter Olympics, and 2022 Winter Olympics in the slopestyle event. While filming for Transworld Snowboarding's "Park Sessions" video in March 2011, Mark became the first person to land a Backside Triple Cork 1440. More recently, on April 28, 2018, Mark landed the world's first Double Cork off a rail, the Front-Board Double Cork 1170, with a melancholy grab. Mark McMorris has won a record-setting 22 X Games medals, In 2012 and 2013, Mark won back-to-back gold medals in Winter X Games in the slopestyle event. In 2023 he defended his Winter X Games gold medal in the men's slopestyle to set a record for the most Winter X Games medals with 22.
Maxence "Max" Parrot is a Canadian snowboarder. He is the reigning Olympic champion in slopestyle, winning gold at the 2022 Winter Olympics and also won a silver in the event at the 2018 Winter Olympics. Parrot has also won six gold medals at the Winter X Games and two gold medals at the Winter X Games Europe.
Anna Gasser is an Austrian snowboarder, competing in slopestyle and big air. She lives in Millstatt. She is the 2018 and 2022 Olympic Champion in Big air.

Patrick Burgener, better known as Pat Burgener, is a Swiss professional snowboarder, two-time Olympian and musician. Pat joined the Swiss national team at the age of 14 and landed the world’s first Switch Backside Triple Cork 1440 in April 2011. Pat competed for Switzerland in the men's halfpipe at the 2018 Olympic Winter Games in PyeongChang where he finished 5th overall. He earned two bronze medals in the halfpipe events at the FIS Freestyle Ski and Snowboarding World Championships 2017 and again in 2019. Pat was named to his second Swiss Olympic Snowboard Freestyle Team on 18 January 2022. He represented Switzerland in the men’s halfpipe at the 2022 Olympic Winter Games in Beijing where he qualified for the finals and placed 11th overall. His career results also include nine World Cup podiums, five European Cup podiums and seven Swiss Champion titles respectively in halfpipe and early on in big air.
Kirsty Muir is a Scottish freestyle skier representing Great Britain who competed in the big air and slopestyle events at the 2022 Winter Olympics. She came second in the big air event at the 2020 Winter Youth Olympics, and third in the big air and slopestyle events at the 2023 X Games.

Melissa Peperkamp is a Dutch snowboarder. She is a multi-time Dutch champion. At the 2020 Winter Youth Olympics, she won a silver medal in the slopestyle event and a bronze in the Big air event. She qualified for both these events for the 2022 Winter Olympics. In the big air competition she qualified for the final and finished 6th while she narrowly missed the qualification for the final in the slopestyle competition.
