Anthology 3 is a compilation album by the Beatles, released on 29 October 1996 by Apple Records as part of The Beatles Anthology series. The album includes rarities and alternative tracks from the final three years of the band's career, ranging from the initial sessions for The Beatles to the last sessions for Let It Be and Abbey Road in 1969 and early 1970. It is the last in a trilogy of albums with Anthology 1 and Anthology 2, all of which tie in with the televised special The Beatles Anthology.

The limited pressing features a different cover and includes a special 3-piece casing, a DVD that contains the music videos of "Colors of the Heart", "Shamrock", "Kimi no Suki na Uta" and a documentary featuring the process of recording the album.

Super Best was the compilation album by the Japanese band The Blue Hearts. This retrospective is composed of their early efforts released by Meldac Records between 1987 and 1989. It also features two rarities that had not been issued on CD — "Blue Hearts Yori Ai o Komete", the song appeared on the video The Blue Hearts Live!, and "1985", the track taken from an independently produced soundsheet which was sold at their concert before they made a contract with the record label.

Shuchishin is a Japanese idol vocal group formed as part of the variety show Quiz! Hexagon II produced by Fuji Television Network Incorporated. Originally meant to be a joke group, the trio has released singles that have hit the top 10 on both the Oricon and the Billboard Japan Hot 100 Singles. Shuchishin, whose name translates as "Shame", consists of the leader Takeshi Tsuruno with Naoki Nokubo and Yusuke Kamiji. The group's final performance was on the January 2, 2009, New Year's Special episode of Quiz! Hexagon II. The group's name comes from a mispronunciation of the word when it came up in a question on the show in mid-2007.

A limited pressing of the album was also released on the same day which includes a DVD containing music videos of Roots, Gekidō (激動), Koishikute (恋いしくて) and Hakanaku mo Towa no Kanashi (儚くも永久のカナシ) as well as a video featuring the process of filming the music videos for Roots, Gekidō (激動).
