Tip of the Iceberg is the second EP by American rock band New Found Glory, released on April 29, 2008 through independent label Bridge Nine Records. [5]

Contents

The release includes three original tracks and three covers of classic melodic hardcore bands Gorilla Biscuits, Shelter and Lifetime.

Release

On February 23, 2008, Tip of the Iceberg was announced for release in two months' time; alongside this, the track listing for it and the accompanying album from the International Superheroes of Hardcore were posted online. [6] On April 10, 2008, "Tip of the Iceberg" was posted on the band's Myspace profile. [7] A launch show was held on May 19, 2008 at Safari Sam's in Los Angeles, California. [8] That same day, the music video for "Dig My Own Grave" was posted online. [9]

New Found Glory is an American rock band from Coral Springs, Florida, formed in 1997. The band currently consists of Jordan Pundik, Ian Grushka, Chad Gilbert, and Cyrus Bolooki (drums). Longtime rhythm guitarist and lyricist Steve Klein left the band in late 2013. Chad Everett Gilbert is an American musician and record producer. He is best known as a founding member of the rock band New Found Glory, for whom he plays lead guitar, sings backing vocals, and composes music. He was also the lead vocalist for the band's now-defunct side-project, International Superheroes of Hardcore. Additionally, Gilbert was the vocalist for the hardcore punk band Shai Hulud between 1995 and 1998, and from 2012 to 2013.

Jordan Izaak Pundik is an American musician and songwriter. He is a founding member and the frontman of Floridian rock band New Found Glory, for whom he sings lead vocals and contributes lyrics. He was also the guitarist in the band's now defunct side-project, the International Superheroes of Hardcore, where he performed under the pseudonym of "Chugga Chugga".

<i>Short Songs</i> 2012 EP by Silverstein

Short Songs is an EP by Canadian post-hardcore band Silverstein. The release has an untraditional number of songs at 22, though as its title suggests, all songs are short and mostly under 90 seconds. Only 11 of the songs are original, while the other 11 are covers of songs by notable punk, hardcore, and screamo bands that influenced Silverstein, such as Green Day, Orchid, Dead Kennedys, Gorilla Biscuits and NOFX. It is the band's second release on Hopeless Records and like their last release, it was also produced by Jordan Valeriote. It is also the band's last release with long-time guitarist Neil Boshart, who left the band in the summer of 2012.
