Tobias Abstreiter (born July 6, 1970) is a German former ice hockey centre. During his playing career he was described as a two-way player and a faceoff specialist. [1]
He started his career in 1987-88 with EV Landshut, playing there for six seasons until moving to EC Hedos München in 1993-94 and, in mid-season, to the Kölner Haie in 1994-95, playing on two consecutive championship teams. In 1997, he moved to TSV Erding for one season before transferring to the Kassel Huskies where he would go on to captain the team. In 2006-07, he left the Huskies to sign a two-year contract with the Straubing Tigers, where his younger brother, Peter, also played.
Abstreiter has represented Germany on thirteen different occasions, both as a junior and as a professional. He has totalled five goals and seven assists in 26 games as a junior and four goals and 17 assists in 48 games as a professional. He last played professionally for Germany at the 2004 World Cup of Hockey, where he went scoreless in four games.
Abstreiter played for Germany in a total of six World Championships. Furthermore, he participated in the 2002 Winter Olympics, finishing eighth in the tournament. Abstreiter was also the head coach of team Germany at the 2021 World Juniors. He led Germany to the quarter-finals for the first time in history.

Joseph Eric Thornton is a Canadian professional ice hockey centre, who last played for Florida Panthers. He has previously played for the Boston Bruins, San Jose Sharks, Toronto Maple Leafs and Florida Panthers of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was selected first overall by the Bruins in the 1997 NHL Entry Draft and went on to play seven seasons with the club, three as its captain. During the 2005–06 season, he was traded to the Sharks. Splitting the campaign between the two teams, he received the Art Ross and Hart Memorial Trophy as the league's leading point-scorer and most valuable player, respectively. Thornton would go on to another 14 seasons with the Sharks, including four seasons as team captain and a run to the 2016 Stanley Cup Finals.
Richard McLaren Nash is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player who serves as the director of player development for the Columbus Blue Jackets of the National Hockey League (NHL). After being selected first overall in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft by Columbus, he played 15 seasons in the NHL for the Blue Jackets, New York Rangers and Boston Bruins, and was selected to play in six National Hockey League All-Star Games.

Ian White is a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman who played over 500 games in the National Hockey League. Robert Reichel is a Czech former professional ice hockey centre and coach. He began his career with HC Litvínov of the Czechoslovak First Ice Hockey League; his 49 goals in 1989–90 was the second highest total in Czechoslovakian history. Reichel played 11 National Hockey League (NHL) seasons for the Calgary Flames, New York Islanders, Phoenix Coyotes and Toronto Maple Leafs. In 830 career NHL games, he scored 252 goals and 378 assists for 630 points. He also played with the Frankfurt Lions of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL). He ended his player career in 2010 in HC Litvínov, where he served as captain of the team.
Aaron Michael Miller is an American former professional ice hockey defenseman. Over the course of his 14-year career in the National Hockey League (NHL), which lasted from 1994 to 2008, Miller played for the Quebec Nordiques/Colorado Avalanche, the Los Angeles Kings and the Vancouver Canucks. In 2002, he was selected as a member of United States hockey team at the 2002 Winter Olympics, where he won a silver medal. Prior to making his professional debut, Miller earned a degree in business from the University of Vermont.
Patrick Thoresen is a Norwegian professional ice hockey left winger who is currently playing for the Storhamar in the Fjordkraftligaen. He resides in Hamar, Norway, where he grew up, during the off season. He has a younger brother, Steffen who's also an ice hockey player. His father Petter was one of Norway's players who played at five Olympic Winter Games (1980–1994). Thoresen would follow in his father's footsteps and play in the Winter Olympics in Vancouver 2010 and Sochi 2014.
