Todd Harbour (born March 24, 1959) is a retired American middle and long-distance runner.
Harbour competed collegiately for Baylor University, and later was the head track and field and cross-country coach at for 22 years, before retiring in 2021. [2] In 1979, he won a silver medal in the 1500 metres at the Pan American Games in San Juan, Puerto Rico. [3] He currently holds the collegiate record in the outdoor mile, when he ran 3:50.34 in Oslo in 1981 during his senior year. [4] During college, he was also a five-time All-American and won eight individual Southwest Conference titles. Harbour was inducted into the Baylor Athletic Hall of Fame, the Southwest Conference Hall of Fame and the Rio Grande Valley Hall of Fame. He competed professionally for Nike from 1981 to 1987, and ran 54 sub-4-minute miles during his career. [5]
Obadele "Oba" Thompson BSS is a Barbados-born former sprinter, lawyer, author, and speaker. He won Barbados's first and only Olympic medal as an independent country by placing third in the 100 metres at the 2000 Sydney Olympics. He is a three-time Olympian, and a finalist at each Olympics. His personal best performances are 9.87 seconds for the 100 m, 19.97 seconds for the 200 metres, and 45.38 seconds for the 400 metres. He has held the indoor 55 metres world record since 1997.
Percy Morris Beard was an American college and international track and field athlete who specialized in the high hurdles event, and won an Olympic silver medal. Beard later became a nationally prominent college track and field coach at the University of Florida.
William Solon Dellinger is a retired American middle-distance runner, and track and field and cross country coach. He competed in the 5,000 m at the 1956, 1960 and 1964 Olympics and won a bronze medal in 1964, setting his personal record. He lettered in track at the University of Oregon in 1954, 1955, and 1956.
John McDonnell was a head coach for the University of Arkansas Razorbacks track team. He began as the cross country and track head coach for the university in 1972 and became head track coach in 1978. McDonnell retired after the 2008 NCAA Outdoor Championships. He is considered by many to be the single most successful head coach in collegiate athletics history.
The Baylor Bears are the athletic teams that represent Baylor University. The teams participate in Division I of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) as one of only three private school members of the Big 12 Conference. Prior to joining the Big 12, Baylor was a member of the Southwest Conference from their charter creation in 1914 until its dissolution in 1996. Baylor is also a founding member of the Big 12 Conference.

Franklin Pitcher "Pitch" Johnson was an American track and field athlete who competed in the 1924 Summer Olympics. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri and died in Rubidoux, California.
Clarence Franklin Robison was a track athlete and coach at Brigham Young University (BYU). As a collegiate runner, Robison competed in the 880, one-mile, and two-mile, setting conference records in the latter two events. Robison put his track career on hold to enlist in the U.S. Navy during World War II and served for three years.
The Adams State Grizzlies are the athletic teams that represent Adams State University, located in Alamosa, Colorado, in NCAA Division II intercollegiate sports. The Grizzlies compete as members of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference for all 18 varsity sports.
John Flint Hanner was an American track and field athlete and coach. He qualified for the 1920 Summer Olympics, won the first NCAA javelin championship in 1921 and later worked as the track coach at Fresno State University for 35 years. He was also one of the founders and the long-time director of the West Coast Relays.
James Henry Kehoe, Jr. was an American athletics coach and university administrator. He served as the athletic director at the University of Maryland from 1969 to 1978, during which time he was responsible for the hiring of future Hall of Fame coaches Lefty Driesell, Jerry Claiborne, Bud Beardmore, and Chris Weller.
James Stanley Bush was a National Track and Field Hall of Fame track and field coach. He was known primarily for his coaching tenure at the University of California, Los Angeles from 1964 to 1984. During that time, his teams won five NCAA Men's Outdoor Track and Field Championships (1966, 1971, 1972, 1973, 1978 and he coached 30 Olympians.
Angela BizzarriPflugrath is a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) and a former American distance runner. She competed for the University of Illinois (2006–2010) and won three NCAA national championships: in Cross Country, as well as in the 5000 meters (outdoor) and 3000 meters (indoor). As an Illini she earned nine All-American honours and five Big Ten Conference titles. She also holds Illini records in the 1500 meters, 3000 meters, 5000 meters (outdoor), 5000 meters (indoor), the mile, and, in Cross Country, the 6000 meters.
Jay T. Jeffrey is an American former college athlete and coach. He played college football at the University of Missouri for one season before transferring to Baylor University where he participated in both football and baseball. Jeffrey was also the first baseball head coach of Southwest Texas State University in their transition to NCAA Division I competition in 1985.
Charles "Charlie" Craig is an American track and field coach and former triple jumper. He was the gold medalist at the 1967 Pan American Games and was an American champion both indoors and outdoors.
The Baylor Bears track and field program represents the Baylor University in the sport of track and field. The indoor and outdoor programs compete in Division I of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and the Big 12 Conference. The Bears host their home outdoor meets at Clyde Hart Track and Field Stadium, located on the university's Waco, Texas campus.
