Thompson Twins were a British pop band formed in 1977 in Sheffield. Initially a new wave group,they switched to a more mainstream pop sound and achieved considerable popularity during the early and mid- 1980s,scoring a string of hits in the United Kingdom,the United States,and around the world. In 1993,they changed their name to Babble,to reflect their change in music from pop to dub-influenced chill-out. They continued as Babble until 1996,at which point the group permanently broke up.

In 2008,he played for Leicestershire on loan because he was unable to break into Lancashire's first team. He is an all-rounder,bowling right-arm medium and batting left-handed. At the start of the 2009 season,Smith was promoted to open the batting,having previously batted in the lower order,and secured his place there. In 2011,the year Lancashire won the County Championship for the first time since 1950,Smith became the first Lancashire player to score a century and take four wickets in the same one-day match. In 2011/12 Smith played for the Matabeleland Tuskers in Zimbabwe as an overseas player in the domestic twenty20 competition.

Kyle was a key bowler for Zimbabwe in the 2008 Under-19 World Cup and he also played for the Zimbabwe U-19 Rugby Team. He was coached by Zimbabwean veteran seamer Heath Streak. He was one of the fastest bowlers to have played for Zimbabwe bowling at 140 km/h very often during his early career. On 17 June 2021,Jarvis retired from all forms of cricket after battling a trio of illnesses earlier this year.

The eighteen county cricket teams were split into three regional groups of six,with the two group winners with the most points advancing to a final held at Lord's. The maximum number of overs bowled in a day was reduced from 96 to 90,and the team's first innings could be no longer than 120 overs.
