Thomas Ernest Bailey (born 21 April 1991) is an English cricketer who plays for Lancashire. He made his first-class debut in 2012 and is a right-handed batsman who bowls right arm fast medium.On 29 August 2020,in the 2020 t20 Blast fixture against Leicestershire,Bailey took his first five-wicket haul in a T20 match.

In 2008,he played for Leicestershire on loan because he was unable to break into Lancashire's first team. He is an all-rounder,bowling right-arm medium and batting left-handed. At the start of the 2009 season,Smith was promoted to open the batting,having previously batted in the lower order,and secured his place there. In 2011,the year Lancashire won the County Championship for the first time since 1950,Smith became the first Lancashire player to score a century and take four wickets in the same one-day match. In 2011/12 Smith played for the Matabeleland Tuskers in Zimbabwe as an overseas player in the domestic twenty20 competition.

On 17 June 2021,Jarvis retired from all forms of cricket after battling a trio of illnesses earlier this year.

It was separate from the County Championship,which was not held in 2020 due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in the United Kingdom. The eighteen county cricket teams were split into three regional groups of six,with the two group winners with the most points advancing to a final held at Lord's. The maximum number of overs bowled in a day was reduced from 96 to 90,and the team's first innings could be no longer than 120 overs.
