Thomas Edward King,Jr. (born July 19,1947) is an American politician. A Republican,he served for nearly two decades in the Mississippi Legislature before successfully running for the Southern District seat on the state Transportation Commission in 2011. [1] [2]

Croatia recognizes life partnerships for same-sex couples through the Life Partnership Act,making same-sex couples equal to married couples in almost all of its aspects. The Act also recognizes and defines unregistered same-sex relationships as informal life partners,thus making them equal to registered life partnerships after they have been cohabiting for a minimum of 3 years. Croatia first recognized same-sex couples in 2003 through a law on unregistered same-sex unions,which was later replaced by the Life Partnership Act. The Croatian Parliament passed the new law on 15 July 2014,taking effect in two stages. Following a 2013 referendum,the Constitution of Croatia has limited marriage to opposite-sex couples.
Tiruvallur is a Grade I municipality and a fast developing city in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It is located on the banks of Coovum river about 46 km (29 mi) from downtown Chennai (Madras) and just 5 km from megacity border,in the western part of the Chennai Metropolitan Area (CMA). It is the administrative headquarters of Tiruvallur district. The city is known for the Veera Raghavar temple,one of the 108 sacred shrines of Vaishnavites. Roles and responsibilities of a typical CHRO can be categorized as follows:workforce strategist,organizational and performance conductor,HR service delivery owner,compliance and governance regulator,and coach and adviser to the senior leadership team and the board of directors. CHROs may also be involved in board member selection and orientation,executive compensation,and succession planning. In addition,functions such as communications,facilities,public relations and related areas may fall within the scope of the CHRO role.
