Thomas Louis Scarfone (born November 19, 2000) is a Canadian college ice hockey goaltender for Wisconsin. He previously played for RIT.
Scarfone began his college ice hockey at RIT during the 2021–22 season. During his freshman year he appeared in 20 games and posted an 8–9–1 record, with a 2.46 goals against average (GAA) and .918 save percentage. [1] Following the season he was named to the All-Atlantic Hockey Rookie Team. [2]
During the 2022–23 season, in his sophomore year, he appeared in 34 games and posted a 22–11–1 record, with a 2.41 GAA and .918 save percentage. He Broke RIT's single-season NCAA Division I era record with 934 saves, while his 22 wins were the second-most in program history, and ranked tied for fourth nationally. [1] He was named the Atlantic Hockey Goaltender of the Week a league-high four times, and named the Goaltender of the Month for January. Following the season he was named to the All-Atlantic Hockey First Team. [3]
During the 2023–24 season, in his junior year, he appeared in 36 games and posted a 25–9–2 record, with a 2.26 GAA, and .925 save percentage. His 25 wins were the second-most in program history, and ranked third nationally. He set a single-season program record with 1,015 saves. [1] On January 26, 2024, with a 3–0 victory against Bentley, Scarfone earned his 44th win for the Tigers, becoming the all-time leader in wins at RIT during the Division I era. [4] The Tigers clinched a first round bye in the 2024 Atlantic Hockey men's ice hockey tournament after defeating Air Force on February 16, 2024, and earned first place in the Atlantic Hockey regular season after Bentley defeated second place Holy Cross on February 22, 2024. [5] This was the Tigers' second consecutive regular season championship. He helped lead RIT to the Riley Trophy as Atlantic Hockey tournament champions, and advanced to the NCAA tournament for the first time since 2016. [6] Following an outstanding season, he was named to the All-Atlantic Hockey First Team for the second consecutive season, named the Atlantic Hockey Goaltender of the Year, and named a semifinalist for the Mike Richter Award. On April 1, 2024, Scarfone entered the NCAA transfer portal. [10] He finished his career at RIT with an overall record of 55–29–4, with a 2.36 GAA and .921 save percentage in 90 games. His 55 wins make him the winningest goaltender in Division I history at RIT, while he also ranked first overall in program history with 2,494 career saves. [11] On April 8, 2024, he transferred to Wisconsin. [12]
Scarfone was born to Cesare Scarfone and Nathalie Arsenault, and has one brother, James. [1]

Tuukka Mikael Rask is a Finnish professional ice hockey goaltender. Rask was drafted 21st overall in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft by the Toronto Maple Leafs before being traded to the Boston Bruins in 2006, where he played his entire 15 season NHL career. Rask was consistently successful during his tenure with the Bruins. After winning the Stanley Cup as a backup with the Bruins in 2011, he led the Bruins to the Stanley Cup Finals on two occasions in 2013 and 2019. He also won the Vezina Trophy as the league's top goaltender during the 2013–14 season, and was a finalist for the 2019–20 award. He also won the William M. Jennings Trophy along with goaltender Jaroslav Halák in the 2019–20 season. Rask is also a two-time NHL All-Star team member. Internationally, he led team Finland to a bronze medal over team USA at the 2006 World Juniors, where he was also awarded the honor of Best Goaltender. He led them to another bronze medal against the United States at the 2014 Winter Olympics. Tuukka is the older brother of Joonas Rask, who plays professionally as a forward with Luleå HF in the SHL.
Ryan Dean Miller is an American former ice hockey goaltender who played 18 seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL) mostly for the Buffalo Sabres. Miller was drafted 138th overall by the Buffalo Sabres in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft. In 2010, he won the Vezina Trophy as the league's best goaltender. Miller was the winningest American-born goaltender in NHL history from February 2019 until March 2024, when he was passed by Jonathan Quick.

The RIT Tigers men's ice hockey team is a collegiate ice hockey team representing the Rochester Institute of Technology in suburban Rochester, New York, United States. The school's men's team competes in the Division I Atlantic Hockey America. The team has won two national championships, one each at the Division II and Division III levels. It lost in the semifinals of the Division I "Frozen Four" in 2010.

Lars Gustaf Oscar Dansk is a Swedish ice hockey goaltender playing for the San Diego Gulls of the American Hockey League (AHL) while under contract with the Anaheim Ducks of the National Hockey League (NHL). Dansk was drafted by the Columbus Blue Jackets of the NHL with the 31st overall pick, the first pick of the second round at the 2012 NHL entry draft. He has also played with the Vegas Golden Knights of the NHL, Rögle BK of the Swedish Hockey League and Spartak Moscow of the Kontinental Hockey League. He was the starting goaltender for the Swedish national junior team at the 2014 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships and was the tournament's best goaltender.
