"Tonight" is a single by British R&B singer Jay Sean. The single was released on 18 January 2009 (iTunes) and 26 January 2009 (CD single), but the music video for the single was released several months earlier, on 17 November 2008. The single is the fourth and final single from his second album My Own Way .
On 15 October 2008, Jay Sean announced that he had signed with American hip-hop label Cash Money Records, on the back scene at MOBO Awards. Jay explained, "It's always been a dream for me to sign to an American label. And it's great to be accepted by the best in the game".
The single includes a remix featuring rapper Lil Wayne, as Cash Money Records is releasing a remix in order to introduce Jay Sean to the American market. However the remix was canceled, and Sean recorded a new single for the American market called "Down" featuring Lil' Wayne.
My Own Way: Deluxe Edition was released on 16 February 2009 in the UK was set for release in the US, however the idea has been shelved and Jay Sean is working on a new album for the American market. The lead single is "Tonight", which was released on 26 January 2009. The album also has two additional songs, "Never Been in Love" and "I'm Gone", and four additional remixes.
On 21 April 2009, Harj D released a remix for "Tonight", called "Tonight (XS-Bass Remix)". The remix is the first remix after XS-Bass' album Amplified, which was released in 2008. [1]

Kamaljit Singh Jhooti, better known by the stage name Jay Sean, is a British singer and songwriter. He debuted in the UK's Asian Underground scene as a member of the Rishi Rich Project with "Dance with You", which reached No. 12 on the UK Singles Chart in 2003. This led to him being signed to Virgin Records and having two UK top 10 hits as a solo artist in 2004: "Eyes on You" at No. 6 and "Stolen" at No. 4. They were included in his critically acclaimed debut album Me Against Myself which, though only moderately successful in the UK, sold more than two million copies across Asia and remains his most successful album to date. Alongside the Rishi Rich Project, Sean was a pioneer of Bhangra-R&B fusion, which his debut album helped popularize among the worldwide South Asian diaspora.
"La Camisa Negra" is a Spanish rock song written by Juanes, inspired by Colombian singer-songwriter Octavio Mesa and recorded by Juanes for his third studio album Mi Sangre. In Latin America, the track was released in 2005 as the third single from Mi Sangre, and in Europe, it was released in 2006 as the album's lead single.
"(When You Gonna) Give It Up to Me" is a song written by Jamaican rapper Sean Paul for his third album, The Trinity (2005). The single meant to be released after "Temperature" was "Breakout" but was switched to "Give It Up to Me" to promote the film Step Up (2006). It was the fourth US single to be taken from the album and the fifth UK single. The version released as a single is a collaboration with Keyshia Cole and is from the Step Up film soundtrack. Despite The Trinity being re-released just before the single release, the version with Keyshia Cole does not appear on the album despite a "radio version" being added.
"I Wanna Love You" is a song written and recorded by American singer Akon featuring American rapper Snoop Dogg. It was released in October 2006 as the second single from his second studio album, Konvicted. It is also featured on Snoop Dogg's eighth album, Tha Blue Carpet Treatment. This song was Akon's first #1 single on the Billboard Hot 100 and was also Snoop's second #1 on the same chart. It also reached a peak of #3 on the UK Singles Chart. The track originally had Akon as a featured artist and was performed by rapper Plies from Fort Myers, Florida, but his verse was replaced by Snoop's and his name has been left out from the writers' credits. This song was #88 on MTV Asia's list of Top 100 Hits of 2007. The song was nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration at the 50th Grammy Awards in 2008.
"Beautiful Girls" is the debut single by American reggae-influenced musician Sean Kingston from his 2007 eponymous debut album; it was first released in 2007, when Kingston was 17. The song samples the 1961 song "Stand by Me" by American singer-songwriter Ben E. King. The song is about a boy who feels "suicidal" over the prospect of dating a "beautiful girl". It is Kingston's signature song.
"Ayo Technology" is the fourth single from 50 Cent's third album, Curtis (2007). It was released on July 24, 2007. The song, featuring Justin Timberlake and vocals from Timbaland, who also produced the song along with Danja, has peaked at number five on the Billboard Hot 100. Internationally, the song peaked within the top ten of the charts in many countries, including Australia, Denmark and the United Kingdom. The song has since been covered by Milow, a Belgian singer-songwriter whose version was successful in a number of countries, including Belgium, Spain, Germany, Italy, and the Netherlands. The song was also covered by Greek-Belgian singer Katerine Avgoustakis.
"Ride It" is the first single from Jay Sean's second album My Own Way and is also featured on his US debut album All or Nothing. It was written by Jay Sean himself and Alan Sampson, and produced by the latter. It was released on 21 January 2008. The song reached the top 20 in the UK Singles Chart, peaking at number 11. The single was also very successful and one of the most played songs in Eastern Europe, particularly in Russia, Bulgaria and Romania, where it became one of the top three best-selling singles of the year. A Hindi version of the song was also included in the Indian release of the album My Own Way.
"Baby When the Light" is a song by French DJ David Guetta. It was released on 10 November 2007 as the third single from his third studio album, Pop Life. The song features vocals by singer Cozi Costi. It was written by Guetta and singer-songwriter Cathy Dennis, whose previous hits include "Touch Me " as well as co-writing numerous dance-pop songs such as Kylie Minogue’s "Can't Get You Out of My Head" and Britney Spears' "Toxic".
"Right Now (Na Na Na)" is the lead single from Akon's third studio album, Freedom. The song contains elements from "Remember" by Summer Love. The song was added to the U.S. Mainstream Top 40 radio airing on September 23, 2008, and also became available for digital download on iTunes that day. The song was intended to have a Euro-club feel.

The song was written by Max Martin, Shellback, and Savan Kotecha and produced by Martin, Shellback and Kristian Lundin for Lambert's debut album, For Your Entertainment (2009). "Love Tonight" is a song by Australian-New Zealand electronic music duo Shouse, released on 14 December 2017, through Australian label Hell Beach, a sub-label of Onelove Recordings Australia, who also marketed the record independently. The song was mixed by Matthew "Horse" Hadley, with additional mixing and mastering by Cass Irvine and Kevin Grainger at Wired Studios London. "Love Tonight" rose to prominence in 2021, becoming a sleeper hit, after several remixes were released.
"Up" is a song recorded by Romanian singer Inna. Global Records sent it to Romanian radio stations on 21 October 2021. Another version of the track with Jamaican rapper Sean Paul was issued on 17 December 2021. "Up" was written by Inna, Sebastian Barac, Marcel Botezan, Alex Cotoi and Minelli, while the production was handled by Barac, Botezan and Cotoi; Paul received additional writing and production credits on his version. "Up" is a dancehall-influenced pop song, with its lyrics describing a healing love.
