The depot also serves as the National Inventory Control Point for ammunition peculiar equipment, developing, fabricating, modifying, storing and distributing such equipment to all services and other customers worldwide. The Deseret Chemical Depot was a U.S. Army chemical weapon storage area located in Utah, 60 miles (100 km) southwest of Salt Lake City. It is related to the Tooele Chemical Agent Disposal Facility.

Harkers Canyon is located 20 km (12 mi) west-southwest of downtown Salt Lake City, in Salt Lake County, Utah, USA. The canyon empties into the Salt Lake Valley from its origin in the Oquirrh Mountains. The canyon is oriented primarily from southwest to northeast, with the middle third of the canyon descending from west to east. Harkers Canyon and surrounding land are owned and managed by the Kennecott Utah Copper Corporation and has been mined for copper.

Utah State University–Tooele is a part of the Utah State University Regional Campuses and Distance Education system located in Tooele, Utah offering a number of Associate, bachelor's and master's degrees as well as certificate programs and a Doctor of Education program. Classes are taught online, face-to-face, and interactive broadcast. USU-Tooele has 10 full-time faculty members in addition to the several adjunct professors who collectively teach more than 300 classes. The campus provides academic advising and free tutoring.

Benson Grist Mill restoration and replica museum in Stansbury Park, Utah

Benson Grist Mill is a restoration-replica museum located in Tooele County, Utah in the western United States, which allows visitors to see the inner workings of a latter-nineteenth-century pioneer gristmill. It has four other historic (nineteenth-century) buildings which have been moved onto the site, as well as four ancillary structures, including an open-air pavilion. It covers 6.98 acres along State Highway 138, 0.8 mile southwest of the intersection of the Road with State Highway 36. The museum is owned and operated by a division of Tooele County.
